And yes, Dockette is coming off an injury, but he's looking pretty good and he seems pretty angry. An angry Darrell Dockette could be big for the D line and sacks.

We also have a real sleeper in Marcus Rush who has been outstanding in camp.

As to a situational pass rusher, Dwight Freeney may want to come out of his "semi-retirement".

Right. The pickins are pretty slim right now. That's why I'm hoping Harold is another one of those rare Baalke pass rushing finds. Lots of ifs and I'd be the first to admit it. If Harold turns out to be good; if Lemonier really has upped his game as reported; if Brooks is really back at 100% and angry; if Dockette really has fully recovered and is angry.

I forgot about Rush. Good catch. But as far as Freeney is concerned, does the team really want another guy who isn't sure he wants to play?

I have more hope for Harold just because we haven't seen what he can do...Lemonier uhh not so much...

hear the same thing last year...didn't think much of it...but now starting to think...never seen a SB contender go from the top down so fast in more ways then one...

Hate to say it But it was going to happen w/Aldon sooner or later.

It just happened a lot sooner than I ever thought.

Drafting Eli, not trading Brooks, developing Lemoniere and coaching-up Lynch still gives us a shot.

Most teams don't have ONE good pass rusher...we have Brooks, Lynch & Dockett just to start. Throw in HUGE upside in Harold and Carradine inside? That's 5 right there. And don't underestimate the rest of the DL to provide some pressure and Mangini to scheme additional pressure. But yeah, sure would have been nice.
