It's applied when analyzing the coaching staff, the oline, the WR, the QB, etc. I think this is a terrible mentality, not only in football but living life in general, in fact this mentality is what created feeling of disappointment.

Meltdown threads will be real.
The optimism is from the New staff working on what was holding back this team
but you can not believe anything the coaches say ,. do or work on.

But every new regime will say they will "fix things", lol.

I also think our fanbase in general is grossly underestimating the value Harbaugh/Roman/Fangio brought to this team when it comes to overall knowledge of play design, devising schemes, and scouting of the opponent.

You guys will find out.
Yes. We are better in all phases:

Oline << can it get any worse than last year when Kaep was the #2 most sacked QB? So we lost Iupati and AD. Both were nowhere near their pro bowl levels in 2011-2013.

QB: 2015 Kap >>> 2014 Kap
WR: Boldin, Smith, and Ellington > Boldin, Crabtree, and SJ
RB: 2015 Hyde > 2014 Gore. Add Bush, Hunter, and Davis and we are rock solid.
TE: 2015 Davis > 2014 Davis by a long shot. Carrier, Bell, and McDonald should see increased productivity
FB: Miller and Millard will be a terrific tandem. Hopefully Miller doesn't miss very many games due to possible suspension

Playcalling <<< can it get any worse than last year with our 25th ranked scoring offense and Kaep not throwing a single 4th Qtr TD?

Underestimating the value Roman brought to the team when it comes to play design and devising schemes? Did you watch at all last year? Or is this a deliberate spoof?

I never said I wanted to keep Harbaugh and Co. I'm just saying don't act like they were completely worthless, that's just not realistic.

What I wanted was to replace Harbugh and Co. with a staff that's better or at least equivalent, instead we promoted their f**kin assistants. wtf...still mad over that.

See only in NT where people will remember Harbaugh's staff based only on last season's results.

But everywhere else Harbaugh will be remembered for bringing us back to being among the elite teams.

Tell us how you really feel.
Gotta remind myself that it's verb posting before I reply... Why waste a thought out reply.

Yes. Everywhere else where people aren't really as in tune with what was really going on with the Niners, they have a different perception. Since they're not following too closely, all they know is what they see in the national sports media. Most NT posters have been paying closer attention.

Evidently, you think it would be more appropriate to judge Harbaugh and his staff based on what they did three years ago and not what they did last year. I find that to be a very strange position.
