Crakes is probably right, I was just throwin Wilson in there on a maybe really, but dude is pretty fast too other than Kap he's probably the most apt qb in the league to win a game with his legs, I cant remember what game it was last year but Wilson busted a 50 yard run down the sideline, he looked like he was running pretty fast, just saying.

I agree that Wilson is fast. He's a great runner. But on that particular long scramble for a TD, Kaepernick basically runs past everyone right down the center of the field without even being touched. Wilson's quicker in short bursts - no question about it, but Kaepernick has another top-end gear speed that's got to be close to the fastest in the league. Once he gets going, it's unbelievable.

Especially given the inability to throw a touch pass or step up into the pocket instead of rolling out

Aaron Rodgers still played legit a few years back behind a crappy OL. Any QB can play well with a clean pocket. But when things break down, you need to be able to manipulate the pocket by stepping up or sliding, not just bailing. A lot of times Kap would just bail and get sacked when he would have had more time if he stepped up.

IMHO Kap will be better this year.
