49er Petition: "Keep Gold in the jersey" an edit to the Alternate Uni's | Page 6

I wanted to make a separate thread for this despite it pertaining to our alternate uniforms mainly because it was petition related. WHO knows if it'll have any impact on anything, but it's worth trying/signing no? (unless you are completely against a gold trim or any more gold at all) http://www.petitions24.com/keep_gold_in_the_jersey *edit* I did not start this petition, just found it on instagram and thought it was a cool idea despite it not being very realistically possible at this point, but yolo Already signed and looking for more sigs! Looks way better and very much needed.

I hate the new uniforms, but they were designed to be BLACK. Trying to shoehorn gold into the design is missing the point.

You're right!

I think we should actually go back to the gold pants with the red jerseys. They matched the helmets and popped in HD. Instead they went back to the offsetting beige-ish color when they switched back to the red jerseys.

True... If the previous uniforms did anything right it was the metallic gold pants.

The gold pants tie the uniform together. The gold helmets look completely out of place with the alternate uniform. It looks like Kap forgot his black helmet and borrowed a gold one.

I agree with both. But in the case of these alts, the point is to be all black and red. Gold outlining would make it look less plain, but it would defeat the whole look they were going for.
