Been one week since we found out Levi has cancer.
Lessons learned in one week....

Some things just don't matter....When something huge like this hits you, you tend to see how much the little stupid stuff pales in comparison. A week ago my worries were whether my favorite soccer team would win, whether I'd get back to full staff at work, if I wanted to get taco bell or chick-fil-a for supper....much of that now seems very irrelevant. Instead I'm thinking, did I flush his central line today? Did we give him all his shots at the right time? Is his crying a side effect of the chemo? How will this effect his development?I've noticed I really just don't have the time or care to worry about so many things now. Life goes on, and it is so much bigger than whether or not I got to see the latest episode of Daredevil.

Give with little restraint....This is not a ploy to try to get more people to donate . This is something that Ihave learned, not a lecture to others. Before this all happened I was definitely frugal with my giving. I would donate, but only to the right cause, organization, or person, at the right time. I was a little cynical too about whether certain funds actually made a difference. Going through this process though there are so many places that have helped us out. Ronald McDonald House, Four Diamonds, House of Hope....I can't even remember them all. So many organizations have come together to help us. When I was at the cafeteria in the hospital they had a jar for donations to....I can't even remember where. I dumped all my change in there. I'm not acting like that makes me some big hero, but that's not something I often did before. My wife and I have also decided that when we get back on our feet we are going to do as much as we can to pay it forward.

Levi is doing well. He's tired, but that's expected. He gets really pissed off with his central line; I can't imagine it is something fun to have. Posted an update on the gofundme page. Due to some contributions from family I dropped the goal to 5K. Also changed the color to purple, which is Neuroblastoma awareness color.Thank you everyone once again! I can't say it enough!

Harder day today. Went in for testing and his red blood cell count was really low, so he had to get a blood transfusion. He's also allergic the the antibiotics we were giving him, and the special cleansing wipes they use to wipe him down before procedures (almost blistered his skin). He's definitely been more tired, and the doc thinks that's because his blood count was so low.Trying to stay positive, but it stresses me out because its another reminder to me off all the things that can go wrong

Sucks man. Little dude shouldn't have to deal with this mess. I hope the transfusion gets his energy level back up.
I hope the infusion helps! Fingers are crossed and thoughts are with you guys.
