Are you happy with the draft?

I love when I tell people hes from Samford. They are all like, Stanford? I'm like naw man, Samford.

I had to look it up myself i learned something new this weekend its in Alabama.

I don't know why people think the Harbaugh regime was so good at developing players. With the exception of Donatell and Tomsula that coaching staff got current players to play to their ability level but never really developed anything beyond that point. If there was a knock on that coaching staff that was one of the big ones and I have heard the local idiot writers say that many unamed players said there was that feeling in the locker room and FO especially after the 3rd year that players especially offensively were not being developed. We will see how this staff compares but they now have a HC who is known for his teaching ability and not just a leader of mighty men.

Offensive guard Trenton Brown (6-8 5/8, 353) had a 28-inch vertical jump and 8-foot-10 broad jump. Brown has 35 1/2-inch arms. He had a really good pro-day workout in front of those nine NFL offensive line coaches present in Gainesville. Brown moves well for a guy his size (he ran a 5.29-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine). Brown really helped his draft status. ~NFL.com

8-foot-10 broad jump? He's 353lbs, wow! Pretty athletic for a giant.
Yeah, not only impressive, but hard to believe. Said it before, but as usual, we won't know value of this draft until 2-3 yrs down the line, and if our top 3 picks don't break into starting lineup by yrs end, i will be amazed. Then there is Trenton. Hard to believe that guy won't be looked upon as a real find. But, not immediately.

Didn't like the the 1st or 2nd round pick. I preferred a number of other players to the ones we picked in particular at RB.

Additionally, super frustrated in no ILB or CB when there were a number of players I really wanted to see on the 9ers....

That's why Balke make the big bucks I guess. O hope it works out for him....

Most importantly I hope it works out for our team!

Didnt like the first 2 picks either...

Def wanted a different RB than the one we got

Didnt see a need for an ILB or CB but def saw a need for a WR and TE to come and play right away... we got... projects AT BEST

Hard to believe a 353 lb guy can get to 28 inches in the vertical. I can see a 350 lb. lineman coming in on goal line and short yardage situations and just plowing guys back.

Jumbo package: Brown at fullback, Belldozer at RB.
