Kap actually had good games when the line gave him alittle time...this season. He would do MUCH better behind a better Oline with better weapons on Offense and obviously coaching....and a easier division.

and why am I not surprised you are throwing "18 million" out there? what a joke.

I keep telling folk I don't see what's in it for us cutting Kap without talking him into giving things a go with Chip. This is a reboot for the whole team essentially both sides of the ball. We won't save money letting Kap walk Scott free? If we're going to pay Kap $11.9 million this year he may as well be wearing a Niners Jersey unless we've been compensated dearly to take it off and dress another guy with number 7!
And this is why I keep saying that I just don't see the benefit to the team of letting Kaep go, either cut or trade. Plus what team is gonna want him at his salary? I know Kaep is not trusting the FO, and the FO honestly earned that mistrust. But compounding the situation by letting Kaep isn't how this is gonna be fixed either. I think everybody involved should just be grown men about this: the FO should level with Kaep and do whatever they can to rebuild the trust they lost with Kaep. And I think Kaep is being ill-served y his advisers. Kaep needs to understand that he will be better served by being the bigger man about this, show up to camp, and ball out in Chip's offence. To do so would definitely raise his trade stock, and his profile around the league in that teams will admire his character (no team wants a pouting QB) and prove that the previous season is not the sum of him.

So is hatred. At least I support a member of the team I follow. Crazy eh?
What you do is way beyond support, you make excuses for every one of his failures, and lay zero blame on Kaepernick himself. You also try to paint him in a positive light by belittling every other QB in the league, like by bringing every one else down it makes Kap higher. You set this strange low standard for Kaepernick while holding all other QBs, including Gabbert to a much higher one. You also quote yourself and make up lies about people that don't share your love for Kaepernick. Like when you told everyone I was PMing Kap fans. You won't even own lying. You keep saying people are harassing you trying to get other posters in trouble. Their isn't any "blind hate" for Kaepernick there are plenty of visible and verified reasons to not like him as a person or a player. Dating a teammates ex shows a lack of class and will divide a locker room, all his social media crap like posting his expensive shoe collection makes him out to be a braggart with a big ego, then we have the poor play due to flaws that have not been improved upon. No need to go on.
No need to go on.

This goes for both sides. Everyone knows what everyone thinks on this issue by now. Why must the animosity and regurgitated cycle of fan conflict continue?

Answer has to be that people are bored to death pr still feeling sore from previous exchanges with each other. Just. Leave. It. Be.

You can say what you want but no away that Elway is gonna trade for Kap or a guy like Kap.
Elway is a guy who know how its done in the QB position.Elway himself was a mobile Qb but it was a good pocket passer.
He doesn't get fooled like other people with the "running Qb crap"!
If a guy doesn't have a minimum feel for a pocket passer, Elway is gonna scratch him down

I wouldn't be so sure, Kap is on a year to year deal and essentially a rental you can send away the minute you find something better....and I think they proved with that defense a stump could get to the playoffs at a minimum. If Oswieller has an inflated sense of worth and asks for a fortune I could see them dealing picks for Kap who is relatively cheap given the market value that was just set by the eagles. They are set to win right now...and there only hole is at QB..Kap has playoff and superbowl experience and can make easily as many throws as Manning last year and get a lot more with his legs. He wont hold a candle to Manning on all the audibles but nobody does. I could honestly say he is basically Oswieller with running ability.
Interesting take Philly....I just assumed DEN was one of the possible stop off spots for Kap , but your reasoning convinces me otherwise; Browns (yes, again) are prime target for kap, as is Texans. But you never know in NFL and there may be some others who have wanted since he first came on stage in NFCC (3) and SB (1). But DEN ....i like it for the reasons you made. There are probably a few dark horses out there we won't even consider. My dark horse is NE and bellichek, one of the few guys who could probably rebuild kap to fit his needs. The othet thing would be kap would like aaron rodgers, get to sit and watch the best QB in the business right now and learn from him. It would be a terrific chance for kap...great HC/OC/QB coach all in one. Honestly i think that is kap's best fit, IF, IF bellichek likes him.
Sounds like Fitzpatrick is about to hit Free Agency, maybe the Jets do trade for Kap
Lmao he really might get what he wished for. Unfortunately for him, I don't think his feeble mind will be able to withstand the barrage of criticism he's going to receive from the NY media.
It's to the advantage of all parties involved, even potential ones, that Kaep gets healthy first. Not sure who or how they determine his 'health'. Team doctor or 3rd party doctor or both. Healthy in general, like full range of motion health, or football health.

His injuries doesn't seemed to be major or career threatening. I'm sure if a team is interested, it would be prudent for them to still wait for the 'all clear' on his injuries before getting into serious talk for a trade. Baalke is right. Kaep has to get healthy first. Until then, there's no deal to talk about. That would be for after April 1st or when Kaep gets the all clear.

I'm 120% sure because Elway despises Kap, RGIII, Manziel type of players. He hates that kind of QB.
The difference is that Osweiler can actually throw from the pocket and has 10 times more football IQ than Kap

No team will trade for Kap because is don't have any value whatsoever.
People in the league finally realize that Kap, RGIII and Manziel type of player its not a long term solution.

The running QB crap bandwagon in NFL ended even before it started...thank GOD!

Philly, you just made the case why we should not trade or cut Kaep.

To be honest before he came forward as wanting to leave, I didn't really want to toss him just yet. I was a big proponent of keeping both he and Gab and drafting a kid and holding a legit competition. I don't think there is a lot to gain from tossing him when we are unsettled at QB ourselves and his value is at an all time low. But once he didn't want to be here to me it was academic. There was always a chance, no matter how slim that he could take off in Chip's offense....but with his current attitude that long shot became no shot.

The problem is we're now stuck with $11.9 million in salary this season. We're already on the hook to pay him well so why don't we play him and let him compete for our gig? I will tell you why. We don't work him out in practice this April once another team ponies up with picks or players. There is no incentive now for us to dump him without any compensation after we've already paid for his services dearly. If we're paying he's playing until someone else pays us is my take on it. F the feelings ... this is business!

Plus there's the issue of precedent here. We can't let Kap perform a trifecta on us. Play poorly hold us hostage for $11.9 million then force his way off the team while we get nothing in return for our buck. I say no way. That's bad business! Good business is to make him wait on the right deal if there is a deal just like the rest of us. If we ( Kap and the 49ers) don't hit the lottery then Kap should have to go to work just like the rest of us!

Jets and Fitzpatrick aren't in the same ballpark right now. It's sounding like he'll "test free agency." NYJ suddenly getting some "real interest" in Kaepernick isn't that far-fetched.

If a deal can be made where we can get something in return worth our while then we should go for it. Bottom line is we shouldn't let Kap walk out with no compensation in return. We have to look out for ourselves first and foremost. That's business!
