It could happen. Reports are saying Brock is going to test FA and if a bidding war happens, and denver losses.......

If Kaepernick goes to Denver it would be a win for him. New team, and a good one, good coach, and a GM that knows a thing or two about QB's. And a new start with the fans. If he buckled down and focused on his craft he could do well there. But he has a good opportunity here too if he wants to come to camp, work hard, and turn this thing around. Kelly is known for getting the most out of his QB's, abd Kaepernick should think hard about that

Considering Manning just won the superbowl without having to lift a finger, and threw twice as many INT's than TD's in the season, i think its safe to say not only Kaepernick but ANY quarterback would do well at first with that team......

People are not thinking this right.
So Superbowl winning team lets his young starter(far i'm concerned Brock was the starter because Peyton was playing poorly) walk out the door with a 15M year proposal, letting him test free agent and trades for Kap a qb who had been atrocious and clearly can't play NFL yet assumming his 18M year salary.

Makes all the sense in the world...

PS: GM John Elway clearly despises Qbs who are fundamentaly flawed and can't throw from the pocket but still want to make this trade

Ya. No way Elway trades for Kap, and he probably won't even sign him if he becomes a FA. Texans and Browns would be the only teams that might have a LITTLE interest in him.

There are only 3 Qbs in the league that fit Kubiak system:
Brock Osweiler
Russell Wilson
Jimmy Garopollo (Pats backup)

Kaep had 4 1000 yard receivers?

But let me ask you a question. Can you name areas where the people and/or players around Kaep that improved since he came into the league. Name one area that improved.

Are you arguing that once kap started he made the the worse in all areas and he has yet to make a teammate look better?

And I would argue our wr are way better than any team since garcia TO Era was at its best in 2013/2014 seasons

Smith and boldin was a solid combo this elyear but our qbs didn't take advantage

You are under the impression I think this will happen. I don't. I was just commenting that it would be a win for him if it did.

A win for Kap is a lose for any team who take him

atrocious? playing under Tomfoolya you say? Geep Chryst? behind a horrible Oline?

Kap actually had good games when the line gave him alittle time...this season. He would do MUCH better behind a better Oline with better weapons on Offense and obviously coaching....and a easier division.

and why am I not surprised you are throwing "18 million" out there? what a joke.

Kap's apparently "so overpaid" he's making extra contract money appear out of thin air!!!
What was the WZ rhetoric on teams interested in Alex Smith 4 years ago pre Combine??

I recall many thought he'd go nowhere, and out of the gate a trade agreement was made before the 2016 football off season officially began.

Kap may not be a great QB, but to think he won't garner any interest is garbage. Every QB is sign-able, just depends on contract.

It'll just depend whether they'll take it on in a trade. If he's released, teams will have the leverage.
Who wouldn't want to get traded to a Super Bowl contender and I think Kap would welcome it w/open arms.

hell yeah, you can throw twice as many Interceptions as Touchdowns and you still win superbowls!!

I keep telling folk I don't see what's in it for us cutting Kap without talking him into giving things a go with Chip. This is a reboot for the whole team essentially both sides of the ball. We won't save money letting Kap walk Scott free? If we're going to pay Kap $11.9 million this year he may as well be wearing a Niners Jersey unless we've been compensated dearly to take it off and dress another guy with number 7!

That really is it in a nutshell. There is nothing else to debate. Any other position is fueled by hate or homerism.
LMAO The Kaepernick Rule.
