I disagree with you. Good day sir.

Your already on record for saying your leaving if kaepernick leaves. And I also remember when alex smith was qb you had some serious.... How do you like to word it? "Blind hate" for the guy... When someone hates previous qb, loves current qb, says he's going to leave when kaepernick leaves, you've lost all cred to have a discussion about kaepernick..

Don't u get it? You said if kaepernick leaves you leave. So you're more of a fan of kaepernick than you are the 49ers....

Nope. It is the final straw. Its not just Kap, its the way this organization operates. I don't respect them even a little bit. Its unfortunate that they own my Niners. Also, I said I would take a break, however long that is, I don't know. I'd imagine it might be a season or two.

His best season while trying to play in the pocket was with Harbs, and Kap still wasn't very good

If 49ers isn't in his heart, I hope we let him go, and I hope both sides benefit from it. No hard feelings, we need to move on. 2016.

Kap is a runner not a thrower. He enamored the league a couple of years ago with his running, not throwing. Now, that they tried to make him a pocket passer, he was exposed. It really is that simple.

How could you make a statement like that when last year we had the worst Oline in the league and the year before we called Temco Bowl type passing routes (per opposing teams).

Well, I guess that just depends on how you look at it. Personally I don't have anything against Kaepernick. I just don't think he's a very good QB, I have never thought so, not from the moment he started. While I am happy to concede that he has played some good games he simply seems to lack the right skills and instincts to play at a consistently high level. His supporters can post all of the GIFs they want showing him making this throw or that throw it doesn't change the fact that his understanding of how the position is supposed to be played sucks, and there are plenty of GIFs out there that demonstrate that with more authority than any of the ones that show him scrambling around, throwing off his back foot and managing to hit someone down the field for a long TD just because his arm is so strong, which I admit can be impressive but quite frankly I'd rather have someone behind center who actually knows how to play the position every down, not just once and awhile.

And of course you can make all the excuses you want about how its the line or the coaches or the lack of talent around him that's to blame but in the end they are just that excuses. Good QB's can still be good on bad teams, they can still make the throws that are required of them and execute the plays the way they are designed they might not win but that doesn't make them bad. Kaepernick was just bad this year, flat out, hold your nose bad, and there is really no way to rationalize that. I think what makes this thread so tiresome is the constant efforts of a handful of people to somehow convince everyone that no really, the sky isn't blue, the sun doesn't rise in the east, and if you just let me make this same argument over and over again 1000 times I'll convince you of it. The argument is tiresome and infantile, and apparently endless.
My only argument is that last year, the team was "hold your nose bad" from top to bottom. The coaching staff was the all time worst and the Oline the first half of the season was hot garbage. I'm not surprised he looked horrible. I'm just saying give it another shot with a real offensive coach. If nothing else, based on his passed success.

Unless someone gives us a haul in picks or players Kap will be right here competing for our job. Kap Blaine and a rookie. I don't see what the bellyaching is for. We already are out $11.9 million this year so unless a team unloads on us Kap is stuck with us and we're stuck with him. Someone has to make it worth our while to convince Chip to forego trying Kap out in his system. People can love or hate on Kap but it is what it is. Kap's poor season last year and his agent's shrewd move with the timing of his surgery guarantying him money due to injury beyond April 1 pretty much sealed the deal until then. After that point what prevents us from giving Kap a go aside from picks or players? We ain't just giving an opponent a free shot at Kap when we've already shelled out unless they're going to pay us for the chance. We have NOTHING to lose hanging onto Kap after April 1 but everything to gain by Chip giving him a go or possibly recouping some compensation for him. That's both good ball and business with the way his deal was written. I fully expect this team to make the best football business decision devoid of the emotions of any team personnel or the player asking out

I saw Kap grimacing when there was a spattering of boos when he was stinking up the joint last year. I didn't like his reaction from a maturity standpoint because you expect the crowd to emote their disapproval when you're not playing well. Also I saw how quickly he was to defend KW against our fans for them trashing him winning a chip. I don't join Twitter but if I did I would as a fan and not a hater but I get why fans want to trash KW as well because his miscues likely cost us a Super Bowl chip. I get Kap wanted to take up for a former teammate but I find it tacky on his part in that it seemed more like a finger to the 49er "fans" in general. The "fans" should be more classy I admit but sometimes a professional has to be above their behavior. All that said I am old and Kap is young and I wish him the best. I just wish he'd handle adversity better
Now that Manning has retired i hope Osweiller decides to walk away from Denver as well thus leading Denver to get desperate N give the Niners a call about a possilbe Krap to Denver trade.

If Kaepernick goes to Denver it would be a win for him. New team, and a good one, good coach, and a GM that knows a thing or two about QB's. And a new start with the fans. If he buckled down and focused on his craft he could do well there. But he has a good opportunity here too if he wants to come to camp, work hard, and turn this thing around. Kelly is known for getting the most out of his QB's, abd Kaepernick should think hard about that
