He was told not to run. Stay in the pocket and play the game the way it's supposed to be played.

Fall guys: Harbaugh, Kaep, who's next?

Give it a rest...Kap needs to take some responsibly for his play as well.

And how's he the fall guy he's the one asking to get traded chip said he wants to work with him?

What sucks is we arent going to get anything higher than a 3rd for him. I would guess we will probably end up with a 4th that could maybe conditionally become a 3rd if he starts so many games. Here are some possibilities:

Cleveland: They could bite, but all signs point to them drafting one with the 2nd. If Hue decides none of them are good enough then Kap could be a cheap option.
Jets: Definitely a possibility but I would be surprised. Fitzpatrick played solid for them.
Bills: I think Ryan would be crazy enough to take a shot at Kap.
Cowboys: Solid backup for Romo behind a huge line with a home run threat in Bryant.
Texans: They should be one of the highest bidders. I hated how Kap regressed last year, but he beats any guy they threw out last year.

Proof. Show me where he was told not to run. Back it up. Tired of hearing that. Show incontrovertible proof. Show me where Harbaugh and Tomsula told him to not run, ever, with no open receivers.

Competition hasn't even started and it looks like Gabbert wins.

My theory on Kap from everything I have seen of him: He is weak -minded. Man...Kap doesn't like things to be very hard for him.
  • Has a great game: loves the media
  • Has a tough game, media asks some direct questions that aren't very tough to answer: Kap clams up
  • First few plays of the game work, Kap gets cocky and jaws it up with the defense.
  • First few plays of the game don't work, Kap makes that face like he just s**t his pants and mentally checks out.

This dude, with this attitude, will not be in the league very long. He will start somewhere else, struggle, get benched, and will want to run somewhere else. Dude doesn't even want to face his real momma for closure...I know, that was a low blow...but it does display how he handles problems...he runs away or hides from them.

Joecool .man you just nailed it, you also made yourself a target for the blind Kap fanboys, Kap is weake-minded and He does not have the Mental capacity to get in the Playbook, nor the Film room.....you see it does not take any Mental capacity to lift weights

Oh yeah I have, you either refuse to see or you have not had your eyes open to see that Kap problems are due to His Stubborness to get in the Film room,Study the play book, and get out of the weight room, you can bring Bill Walsh and it would not make a difference , because Kap refuses to do those thing any GOOD QB does....I don`t Care how talented you think Kap has,its a waste,Talent alone do make you a good player.....JimA49ers

PROOF:

Where`s your PROOF? His play on the feild, not able to make others around him better,...Brady, Rodgers.RothS.Flacco,Rivers,Newton, these guys ARE not in the weight room 24/24 and their play shows on the field, Gore Crabtree told us what kap problem is and yes VD too told us and yet like your NAME you are to the facts ex-players are telling everyone.

Never said they wouldn't pay him. They owe him bonus money and whatever money they work out to cut him like they did with Hunter. They would still save a bunch of money if they gave him that option.

All he has to do is say his hand really hurts and he can't throw the ball. What is the team going to do give him $11.9m to sit the bench?

2017 - $14.5m fully guaranteed after 4/1/17
2018 - $5.2m fully guaranteed after 4/1/18
2019 - Base salary $16.8m
2020 - Base salary $19m

Could get real ugly for both sides if they don't want to play nice.

If he isn't healthy by April 1st then there is no advantage to cutting him for the remainder of the year. They could RG3 him and make him sit on the bench.

So you want the team to give him his guaranteed money of $11.9m to be the 2nd string QB?

I mean what else can they do? because of his injury they can't cut him until he's passes a physical (which might not be until after April 1st)...if they can't find fair comp he's fighting Blaine for the starting gig for the season.

? who said he has to pass a physical before they cut him
as far as I know they can cut or trade him before April 1st and his $11.9m is not paid.
49ers would only pay back bonus money of a couple million

The injury clause only covers career ending injures. Plus Kap had to take out an ins. policy to pay the 49ers back $20m if he has a career ending injury.

IMO the best thing the 49ers could do is cut it's loses with him either trading him or cutting him before April 1st. Save around $8m and use that so sign another QB that's isn't rehabbing a throwing hand. Esp. if he doesn't want to be here.

"Still, Kaepernick would have to pass a physical in order for the Niners to cut him. So it behooves Kaepernick to be healthy by March 9, unless he prefers to stick with the Niners at $11.9 million"

This has the potential to be a messy divorce in Santa Clara.

yes chip has reached out and is trying to meet ck half way,,,,, if ck does not want to be here, fine. you can blame things on the front office but not this one, in my opinion. the search for the second gunman continues

Proof, back it up. I don't think uou can. There isn't any. I want what you demand anytime anyone posts an opinion contrary to yours. Show proof. You are just making it up otherwise on your all Kaepernick a the time tirades. No coach ever has told a QB that. It just fits your agenda.

Keep up the harassment.
at least you guys did not get a PM death threat like stoney , english and i did

Well if he doesn't wanna be here then trade him to the highest bidder plain and simple.

Exactly, I cared more about finding a good fit for smith because we didn't want him. Since kap doesn't want us, I'd send him to he highest bidder regardless of whether the team was a dumpster fire.

This has already been covered, they'd be on the hook for everything that is guaranteed.....or $11.9 million.

There you have it. The sooner the 49ers can rid themselves of Kaep, the better. I'd prefer to get rid of him before free agency, even if we get nothing in return.

it is a FACT that ck was not mentally tough from the stand point,,,,, he would always let the other teams defensive players get into his head causing him to lose his cool... when the defense or certain players know they can get in your head, its blood in the water..... that is the one thing that always irritated me about ck. and you guys do bring up a great point. phoenix posted some pics of ck pulling f**king stupid tires in the off season when maybe he should have been doing what 4949 suggested
