As far as comparisons it really doesn't matter. Kap may never become as good as Cam is right now but it's irrelevant.

When people talk about Kaps or Cams or RG3's potential this is what people were envisioning as oppose to the ceilings of QBs like Gabbert. This is the potential that Cam has reached that we all hoped Kap would excel towards years ago. He has not BUT that potential STILL EXISTS and it is BORN can't be taught to scrubs like Gabbert.

Kap has it whether he reaches it is another thing but to give up that quick but spend 7 years on our other QB that never had the potential to begin with is hilarious.

Cam has played a full 5 years basically, Kap has not. Makes no difference how old Kap is.

I wouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. If he's not getting the new system and is still inaccurate he won't be starting.

people keep reading that Kap can't learn s**t, or isn't football smart, or playbooks shrink for him, bla bla.. and folks start to believe it.

If Kap couldn't do all that stuff, he would have been got as far as he has in his career. And he certainly would not have got a big contract, regardless of how it plays out each year.

and teams wouldn't be asking to trade for him either.

I'm not worried about all this stuff most try to make others believe about.... inaccurate, slow release, no touch, not mobile (can only run forward...lol), etc.

the only thing I worry about is his confidence....and I think with a new coaching staff, that shouldn't be an issue.

edit- meaning, having Harbough replaced with Jim f**king Tomsula...and not making any changes when it was obvious Devey, Martin, Pears were horrible.

I doubt Chip would've kept Devey, Martin and Pears all out there... TOGETHER at that...lol.
