Meh I watched a bit of their games last yr because I was rocking Fitz magic/Winston and Evans in fantasy...the red tornado wasn't very good.

I think he gave up over 25 QB pressures last yr (worst of his career).

edit: I don't want to hear PFF anything from you I saw you post SF's PFF run-blocking grade the other day

They played okay. McGlinchy had a real strong game, Person and Staley were solid. That being said the Bucs don't have any really good pass rushers but they do have really solid run stopping D lineman

I agree!

Defenses are usually ahead of the O on the majority. Not playing together hurts a team. The O has so many rusty parts from the OL, especially the interior to Jimmy and new parts (wr). If the line stays healthy they will get better as the season progress. It is not how fast you start but how you finish.

Isn't fixing the OL the last part required of the Shanahan/Lynch rebuild?

I mean it isn't rocket science to state that our OL has been really sub par since 2015 and is something long over due for a make over?

Shon Coleman is hurt and wont be doing much for a while.

Sure McGlinchey is going well but who is being groomed to replace Staley when he retires in the next year or two?

IMO we still look a bit light on depth and experience.
I'm telling you the middle of the line is our Achilles heel. I hope they stay healthy and pan out but damn it's shaky.

Agreed. And the depth is not there
I don't think the OL was prepared for the number of run blitzes they got pummeled with, but I agree as time goes on this unit gets better game by game

Oh yes I think the line is something of a stopgap this year. Kind of liking most other areas whilst waiting to see them gel and/or clear injuries. But hoping for a high pick at tackle, a high pick or a top free agent at guard and better depth. By the way, I emphasise the word hoping!

Haha. You know me. If it's 9er related, I'm posting it (whether I agree with it or not).

Backup swing tackle with starter experience, he's not very good but it's about what you're gonna find at this pt.

Meet the new starting right tackle for the Arizona Cardinals.
Eagles need a DT after Malik Jackson's injury. We should trade S.Day/J.Taylor for Vaitai to be our swing Tackle.

That's good for us, right?
