Over right tackle, Center or where ever.

In the past, Kyle has schemed up effective counters to Garrett. With Purdy's excellent processing ability, he will pick the audible that fits the situation. Garrett will make some plays but he won't disrupt the whole game.

the vision our team should not want to see is once the Lambs get ahead by 10 to 14 points and we are forced to go to our passing offense... This is the same vision I'm sure McVay has, get a good lead, and allow 95 to be the pass rusher that he is ..

we shoulda given up the same ranch we did for Trey Lance to get MG and any player they want from our team.. heck, we draft better after the 3rd round anyhow..

Agree, the Garrett trade was a big swing -- and hopefully a big miss (vs a grand slam.) I still like our chances at getting into the playoffs. Anything can happen once you get into the playoffs. Last year, I didn't expect to even win one game, and we did - against the previous years super bowl champs at that. We just need a little luck and a little health and I think this is going to be a good season. Hopefully the season ends on February 14, 2027, but I'll be happy with getting into the playoffs this year -- considering how young the defense is and how new the coaches are in working with Kyle (in a sense.)
They were smart to add a couple of free agents earlier and even tho they didn't address O line early in the draft, they (at least) didn't wait till the 6th / 7th round. Competition in camp will be better than last year that's for sure. I can't wait for someone to beat out (convincingly) Brendel at center and hopefully sooner than later
Have you guys give any thought that Aaron Donald might come back? If I am him, why not?
Wanya Wayne Morris traded from KC to Atl. Swap of 6th/7th draft picks. Did anyone here have the hots for him?

If you were him I'd ask you why you haven't come back the last two years…

Because they didn't have the most dominant pass rusher in the NFL the last two years. It's pretty easy to see why he wants to come back. He can't be double teamed anymore for like the first time in his career and then to top it off they were in the NFC Championship, have the MVP and went out and got an all pro CB along with Myles. I'm sure in his mind this would be his easiest shot at another ring.

They had a guy who while not getting as many sacks was doing pretty good for himself along with the rest of a great pass rush unit. They were one of the SB favorites going into last season and Matt Stafford wasn't getting any younger. I'm not certain but I believe he could've come back for the playoff run and didn't.

I find it hard to believe that a guy who hung it up while still being an excellent player and with the team he was on being on a clear upwards trajectory, is somehow going to come back simply because Myles Garrett is now there.

I remember how everyone claimed they were the team nobody wanted to play heading into that 2023 playoff run. Like what is he coming back for? He's arguably the greatest DT to play in the NFL. What does he have to prove playing next to Garrett? Just for sh*ts n giggles? He probably wouldn't even be asked to start so what exactly is he playing for? A ring? Maybe but the opportunity was definitely there already and he stayed home.

I'm not too worried about Garrett lining up inside. When he's outside, we're definitely going to chip him. I have confidence in Kittle, but the TE depth? Not so sure. The blocking from our TE depth has always been a question mark which is why the team hasn't been able to move on from Juszczyk.
