Exactly their performance recently against mediocre defenses at best was a mirage they'll struggle mightily if they face Philly next week.

TBH my first reaction is the tackles didn't do bad at all. Seattle will get some. But overall k felt lole
mckivits and Pleasants did a decent job. (At least in pass pro) The interior got manhandled. Literally blown back on so many plays it was disheartening.

now the running lanes.... no clue wth happened but man Kyle needs to get draft some real monsters in the middle.

My thoughts too. Both the interior Oline and Dline lost at the LOS were the main reasons we lost the game. The D at least held the points to 13 even though they couldn't stop Seattle when it counted at the end.

The Defense will be fine next year we get 2 All Pro back and then get a high 1st round draft pick back . Also this past years draft was just about all spent on defense so the young guy should be alot better for it.If our oline can't win against great defenses we are never going to get back to the Super Bowl. I think we should concentrate on getting bigger and stronger on the oline to handle the Hawks and Rams front and add some speed at the WR position .

The poor play by the back 7 was a bigger factor. Missed tackles, bad run fits, mental mistakes.
This o line isnt good enough for us to win in the playoffs. They have not averaged over 3 yards per carry against any good defensive teams they played this year. KS offense isn't winning if they can't run the ball. And once this team is one dimensional and without RP. The struggles are real. Let pray for blocking power this week. If these dudes can't open up running lanes it's gonna be ugly.
They need help / starters in just about every position. I still hope they go OT or Center with the first pick if there's a real good prospect available. Other than Trent (missed a lot of time / games) and Puni, the rest of the O line are just good backups

McKivitz is one of the better right tackles in the league. Not a backup.

This. Unfortunately he started off his career on a bad note so some people will see any bad play from him and reinforce their initial assessment of
him. Dude has actually developed into a good RT.

Realistically we can't find replacements for Trent, Burford and Brendel in one year, but they need to aim for two. Ideally a successor for Trent and a new center. Burford is the poison I would pick for 2026.
If Trent come back . Sign the Ravens Center Tyler Linderbaum in free agency .First Round Draft which is higher on your board a WR or Guard then Draft the opposite in the second round.3 Round Draft another o lineman who could play Guard or Tackle.Rest of the Draft find the best defensive players who could step on the field right away.

You know Kyle is itching for a WR with the top pick so he can help his flag team, errr, football team

Yah gonna find lots of defenders in the late 4th round to step on field right away.

Sign McCoy when he is likely cut and draft Chase Bisontis. Probably aren't getting the Trent replacement this year but could get a mid round development guy.

I have been critical of him, but he has significantly improved throughout this season. He will occasionally get beat on an obvious 3rd down, but that can be said of about 90% of all starting tackles in the league. He went from mediocre to good. At this point he is a bargain.

I like the idea of drafting a tackle mid rounds to develop behind him and TW. Assuming one gets dinged up for a game here and there he can step in and get experience. Pleasants has been pretty good in the small sample size we have.

I still want to upgrade center. Brendel has been OK, but he cant handle the premier lines we will see in the playoffs. Last game the interior was abysmal. They should take the best center and rd2 and not think twice. Maybe a LG in rd 3 lol

Yeah we want a Saints reject then we will still be looking up at the Rams and Seahawks

With JJ scheduled for Free Agency, and not being a good route runner/unable to beat man coverage, if a big man-beater WR is available when we draft, that will be the priority.
Wonder if Alijah Vera-Tucker is a guy they could possibly get at a discounted rate after his injured season. He fits what KS wants
