"According to TruMedia, during the team's five-game winning streak, the 49ers' sacks allowed rate has dropped from 5 percent to 3 percent — which would rank 1st in the NFL. The offensive line is also getting more push in the running game — up 0.4 yards before contact per rush the last five weeks, per TruMedia — while also showing improvement after contact."

Hell of a game by Austen Pleasants.

Really impressed with how the oline has played of late. I don't think it's coincidental that Purdy has enjoyed so much success these past few weeks. The online has stepped up their game too.
These guys have been balling out.

I agree. I was really impressed.
Losing Trent could have been a disaster but Austen Pleasants and the rest of the O-Line did a hell of a job.
That was probably the best running performance the Niners had all season with the game against the Falcons.

I recall Purdy saying what a pleasant guy he was to hang out with.
Resign Pinero, Pleasants, Sky moore, Bourne, Both Robinsons, Morestead and Tonges ASAP.

Great building block of high character and true 49er spirit.

DEFINITE yes on Pinero, Moore, Tonges, and Morestead (priority). Curious about the price on Bourne and both Robinsons. I did see Brian near the front of the boombox entrance though:). I think for a fair deal, Bourne is back. He has seen life elsewhere.

I'd also add Clelin Ferrell to the list. Good for spot duty and run downs. Surrounded by some legit pass rushers he can also get effort sacks.

The O line has been nothing short of exceptional lately

Austen Pleasants looked comfortable / confident last night and played like a real vet as if he was the starting LT all season

He's a rather huge fellow as well (6' 7", 330 lbs)... #MountPleasant

I need Brandon Thorn to tell me what tier they are in before I can agree that they have been exceptional.

Yup, absolutely agree with that. The olines performance I'd say is my biggest surprise this season.

For anyone who cares, here are some PFF season ratings along with their overall position ranking.
Trent Williams 91.5 3/84
Spencer Burford 59.7 42/79
Jake Brendal 72.3 11/40
Dominick Puni 69.9 22/79
Colton McKivitz 83.7 7/84

To follow on your post, here are the rankings for each:
Trent - #3 overall
McKivitz - #7
Those two are the highest rated pair of OTs in the league.

Burford - #41, at one point, while he was still fighting injuries, he was in the low 60s.
Puni - #26, like Burford, he was in the 60s while injured,
The fact these guys have raised their season average to where it is now, shows how well they have been playing during the present win streak,

Brendel - #11, at one point he was #19 but he has improved right along with the Guard play.

It's all about chemistry in the OL.
