I love how a 3rd round pick in Martin has to hope for a miracle to get defensive snaps even after losing Warner, but a 7th round filler pick of a guard is our starter for 7 games. That disparity just tells me they simply don't value/evaluate o-line properly.

lol, heres some other numbers for everyone else:

I 100% agree that the 49er need to use better or more draft capital on the O line. No they do not need to use first round pick on the o line. If there is a starting LT in the first round draft him. If your highest rated player in an O linemen draft him. Other then that second and third round pick will work. Think if they would have draft O linemen and skip trading up for Trey Sermon, drafting Danny Gray, Tyrion Davis-Price all third round pick could have been o line. Jake Moody a third round pick could have used o line help. Cameron Latu another third round pick. I know not all the player would not have worked out but 2 player would have helped the depth of the O Line. Could have drafted a Center to develop.

f**kin thank you!!!!!

Dee Winters has been horrible at tackling not to mention he's not good at all in coverage. Let Nick Martin play!!!

Absolutely. There's a lot more, too. Out of all those picks and more not mentioned... we definitely missed a couple of good O linemen
Man I'm loving the defensive pick ups this week. Almost makes me a believer again about making the playoffs.

But dang I wish we also tried to upgrade the oline with a trade.

I'm with you. We need a LG bad, but of we can improve at RT for long run we should do that too. I know McKivitz was signed to a deal, maybe he can be a swing tackle, or maybe trade him in the future. The dude is toast against fast DEs. He's lucky to have Brock normally who hides his badness.

I know I might be alone on this but I still have hopes for Dillard. I was actually a fan of his during his draft. Not pound the table for him fan, but I liked him. Wonder how he would be as a guard

Reports were that he was missing too many tackles in practice.

The O line definitely sucks ass, but I'm sure if Purdy were was healthy and playing it wouldn't look quite as bad. His elusiveness and awareness in the pocket is light years ahead of Jones.

Yep, if the defense knows where the QB is going to be standing, it is easier to plan a route to get there quickly and efficiently.

When he was here over the summer, he was hurt. When he recovered (not sure how much), they cut him a couple days afterwards... maybe set back or new injury got him cut. He's healthy now. They released OT Brandon Parker (6'8 320) from PS to make room for Andre Dillard... there must be something good they see in him

Also, they had to make room for Clelin Ferrell, so OG Drew Moss had to go...
Who is one under-the-radar player who could get traded before the deadline?

Graziano: Giants offensive lineman Evan Neal. He has played tackle and guard for the Giants, but it has never quite worked out. He's only 25 years old and was the No. 7 pick in 2022, so the talent is there. He's eligible for free agency at the end of the season and doesn't seem to be in New York's long-term plans. Almost everyone is looking to add offensive line depth this time of year, and there doesn't seem to be much reason for the Giants not to move Neal if they were offered a pick.
