let's give some flowers when the guys play well, i thought mcK, bartch and brendel did great, and the pff seems to reflect it, these are strong grades

PFF pass and run grades for the #49ers offensive line against the Seahawks:

Trent Williams: 50.1 - 55.8
Ben Bartch: 56.8 - 74.7
Jake Brendel: 75.4 - 67.6
Dominick Puni: 60.4 - 48.4
Colton McKivitz: 80.9 - 63.9

Williams' 6 pressures were more than the rest of the line combined.

I believe Trent Williams has a history of starting the season slowly. He probably takes longer to get in condition.

Puni was BAD yesterday. PFF had him graded at 51.2

Trent Williams was also bad. He allowed 6 pressures and had a 55.2 grade

Brendel (70.6), Bartch (73.7) and McKivitz (62.4 with an 85.1 passing grade) all played well.

That said, Williams will get going as will Puni who missed most of camp.

if trent is our problem we don't have anything to complain about. he got rolled up yesterday, i saw us with plenty of time to throw, the challenge right now is our kicker and we have a lot of key weapons in the pass game in street clothes. OL did well.
