I don't know ... the team has been suffering at center for a while. For most of my time following the 49ers their centers were pretty good ... but lately ... bleh.

His feet and recovery ability are great. Seems powerful and like a good athlete. Good technique too. Would love to see him as our starting C sooner rather than later.

So you liked him at C this preseason?

I believe they played him at Guard in the last game and he played super well. But he has Center experience and we need that. So Moss - C, Puni - G, Colby - G could be our interior for the future. That's a good to great young interior. Now if this team could just find a way to pick OT sometime. As Trent is getting older and McKivitz may leave in free agency. We have huge needs at OT. Yes I see Moss's future at C. Even though he didn't always play there this preseason. It seems to be his future.

What's his C history? Did he play C at all this preseason?

He did get snaps at center with the 49ers.

I wish Kyle would let Brock make the calls, then Moss could get in the game faster.

Bro I'm with you, but Shanny ain't trusting no rook over his love child, Brenda

Moss' GF is Brock Lesnar's kid and she looks like she could almost kick his butt so the only chance he has at center is to be very still, centered in the middle, on the bottom and obey her commands

He's not great or anything, he just has potential to be good enough. He's got short arms which scares most teams away.

Its a low bar.
Niners found someone else to groom for swing tackle, don't worry, he's not a Kilgore. He's a Kilian... maybe future edge rusher killer

I've seen enough....

Kilian Zierer > Trent Williams and its not even close.

Yeah I know he won't do it. LOL. Just it could be good. That's all.

Yes indeed, I really hope he grinds his butt off to compete with anyone for the center spot next year. Who knows, he might get called on if injuries take its toll like last year...
Still a weakness but by all means another WR is key
Heres my bold prediction, if the Oline stays relatively healthy they will be a top 10 Oline.

That is a bold prediction. Based on fan perception, I'm not sure we've ever had a top-31 offensive line in the Shanahan era.

Would be a miracle, but imo Brendel is still terrible.

He's not terrible. He is an average NFL center. Last season he ranked #17 out of 40 centers who played the minimum number of snaps. His weakness has been in PP. Even there he ranks just ahead of Cam Jurgens in Philly. If he picked that up a bit, he would be fine.

On the zone anything short of all-pro is terrible.
