The 49ers average about 1 C drafted every 12 years, so next year is the year.

The OL is my biggest concern this season.
Hopefully, we won't pay a big price for not being more aggressive in upgrading it.

Would be worse to rush him back and have the injury get worse. We should just sit him until he's fully healed.

That just really hasn't been a thing for the past 15-20 years now.
OL is just a very hard position to fill. No teams have average/above average 3rd stringers anymore.
They are lucky to have 2-3 serviceable backups.
