Its interesting to note that those first trade downs (pick #27 to pick #30) and (pick #30 to pick #33) were preceded by teams picking an offensive linemen just before the 49ers would pick.

Personally, I think ShanaLynch thought they could get an OLine pick in the first round - but had to trade back because their guy was poached by another team, when their first round pick came around.

Are we gonna sign zeitler? Sounds like a forester kind of guy. Might class up the place. 75 pb grade, 900 snaps last year. I'm in.

Let's kick in for his 401k and medicare part b and roll out the red carpet please.

We actually beat Seattle in the first game last year. If we can beat their man coverage we have a shot. Rams showed this when they played them in the playoffs, Seattle beat them in a close game.

Biggest difference moving forward is that we will also be getting after the Seahawks QB, similar to how they will be coming after ours.

While we didn't really make big improvements on the line, if we stay healthy, these games against Seattle will be closer than people think. Seattle's going regress this season, too much turnover both player and coaches, so I'm not buying into the doom and gloom matching up with them. IMO, the Rams are who we should be worrying about more, they're the better team, but they did us a solid reaching for that backup QB in round 1.

I agree they will regress - how much remains to be seen. But the 2023 Superbowl runner up niners regressed to 6-11. So there is hope.
