There's merit to Doug what everyone thinks of course, Beadles always playing on the left, but that means a rookie and a suspect RT on the same side.

Yup guess we got to trust the OL coach Garnett might be better than beadles who knows lol...I'm a fan of our OG squad though.

Actually, I hoping Garnett is better than Beadles, lol. That would be a great thing. And our OL coach gets my trust... For now.

That line didn't have a ton of talent at all for years but IMO they over perform...having a soild QB helps as well lol

I think the OL will be alright. If we pick up one higher end guard or RT next offseason we will be more than fine for the long term.

Actually, I am hoping we grab a tackle and a guard again next year. Put that crap to rest. Tackle, guard and wherever piece the D needs after this year evaluation. That presupposes one of our two QB's actually shows up and performs. It would suck if we have to go QB in the first round and still have holes on the O Line. But the good thing is, regardless of the numbskulls yelling about our salary cap situation , is that we can afford to do some shopping next year if we need to.

True. Above all else -- this season is about getting clarity on the QB position. If both QBs suck, that's good. If one becomes a solid starter, that's good. If both become solid starters, that's good. The only bad answer is two unknowns. Wins/losses don't mean much this year. It's all about understanding what we have (or don't have) for the long term at QB.

you guys, sometimes you all just need to read between the lines.

the minute Boone saw what was going on w/the organization, he knew that he's quickest way out was to start being a jerk.. holdout, ask for so much money, play average, then start talking...

Boone wanted his way out of SF he just felt that if he's gonna finish his career on a mediocre team, or if there's no championship team that would be willing to sign him for the right price, he may as well make his RICHEST now regardless of what team that is.. he just went for the money just incase his career is close to an end..

Sorry, but Boone was reverting to the mindset that ended up with his enjoying several Taser hits while he jumped up and down on the hood of a car in a drunken stupor. Like many alcoholics, he has started feeling nostalgic for when he didn't have to be responsible or work hard. Life will be tough for him after he gets mustered out of the NFL.

Dr. Throwback thank you for the report on Boones alcoholism and mindset. Does your report come from personal experience with Boone or are you just running your . Stick to football

Kid, I am betting the OL, esp the OGs are one of the major strengths of the team this yr. I don't think they will be better than last yr....I think they will be exponentially better and will be our obvious strength this yr. Truly one of our brightest spots, AND I'm not even sure who is starting. Meaning, that we have some serious talent in rotation , also. Yeah, unheard of for us...but that is what I am certain we will see. I am also betting on Trenton to kick azz and take names. He's quick, he's massive, and he is a true athlete. Not this yr, but with some coaching, some PT, I could easily see him as an all pro....not now, but down the line.

imo the FO treated Boone like crap, I always thought he was a better fit at RT or at least should of legit battle with AD to see who should've held down that spot.

Treated him like crap??? They brought him in when he was a full blown alcoholic, gave him a job and counseling...dude might not even be in the league or worse if SF wasn't there to help him.

Such a baloney comment...if he was a RT why'd no team sign him to RT money or have him as their RT? Dudes a OG and not even a great one. He got paid based on the help of SF.

Best of luck to Boone glad he got paid we will see what he does in Minn.

I really hope that is true. Regardless, this year or next, I think the OL has a solid foundation to build upon.
