I am just wondering how much he cost us. That and could we have kept Gore for about the same amount of money. If I had my choice I would rather have Gore.

Yeah I know he won't be asked to be the #1 option with us, I just think it's a good sign that he was able to avg 1k yards for the last 3 seasons before he got hurt. Shows me he still has some gas left in the tank.

Just can't get excited over a 30 year old injury prone back coming off injury. And nothing about a Tomsula/Chryst combo makes me feel optimistic that they can even utilize his skillet. He would've been a much better fit in NE (Brady/McDaniels) or NOLA (Brees/Payton).

Nah, like I said earlier, Baalke likes to have like-depth players at each position. In the past it was Gore-Hyde & Hunter-James. Now it's Hyde-rookie and Hunter-Bush. Smart moves. Plus he had 550 yards from scrimmage in 11 games last year. That's basically better than our #2 WR in the HaRoman offense.

Good move. Hopefully we use him as a receiver out of the backfield. 3-headed monster of Hyde-Hunter-Bush can be pretty good.
