I really hope this doesn't hurt the chances of us fans seeing either Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, Duke Johnson or Tevin Coleman in red and gold.

+1

Agreed

Nah, like I said earlier, Baalke likes to have like-depth players at each position. In the past it was Gore-Hyde & Hunter-James. Now it's Hyde-rookie and Hunter-Bush. Smart moves. Plus he had 550 yards from scrimmage in 11 games last year. That's basically better than our #2 WR in the HaRoman offense.

Well you may be right after all we also had Marcus Lattimore too.

Truth! Don't forget we're trying out Jarryd Hayne trying out as well (both backup RB and ST ace)

RB: Carlos Hyde; Reggie Bush, Kendall Hunter, Jarryd Hayne & Kendall Gaskins (Phillip Tanner & Alfonso Smith)
FB: Bruce Miller; Trey Millard

280 snaps, and 26 yards on his longest run.

That's great. Always productive. And now he had time to heal up, right? Anyone have details on his injuries? Obviously, he passed his physical if he signed the contract...can bring him along slowly IF even needed.
lol Bush isnt going to wear 21. Common sense guys...

He will either wear 22, which he wore in Miami, and is available with Chris Cook gone, or he will buy 25, his number in NO, from Jimmie Ward. Those would be my guesses.

If the 49ers havent let a single player wear number 97 for the 7 years since BY retired, they arent going to let anyone wear 21 or 52.

Are we finally going to start passing it to our RBs? Bush could fill out the roster as a solid third down back and punt returner

You should ask Kaepernick to start taking this.

As long as one of the side effects isn't the inability to win playoff games. 4-2 playoffs 3-1 road
I like the signing personally.. I cant help but feeling though a similiar signing with Brandon Jacobs... Former good player, expected to do not alot but a good amount of damage to opposing defenses. I hope it plays out differently seeing as Bush is a completely different type of Back.

I would like to see us use him like to Saints used him.. Funny enough thats the only way i see the coaches using him, like New orleans did. And funny enough, Reggie hated the way the Saints used him so its irony is comical.

Interesting signing though non the less.. Maybe FO doesnt have full support into Hyde yet? I Mean i havent seen the contract yet but I suppose this signing is a good insurance policy if Hyde cant be a true #1 back.

Believe he thinks it will become a retired #.

In NO MIA and DET they never had a QB like Kap to share the backfield with. If you think Wilson and Lynch don't benefit one another up in SEA then I don't know what to tell you. Sure we will utilize Reggie's versatility but he potentially can be even more effective rushing the ball off misdirection with Kap
