In Kaepernick's 2 seasons as full-time starter, SF RBs totaled only 93 grabs & 43 of them were FB Bruce Miller. Kap's not Captain Checkdown

I have more hope in Kap discovering the short game than I did Smith discovering the long ball.

Agree! You can learn the short game, with the long ball you either have the arm strength or you don't. Kaep clearly has the strenght for the long ball. Just has to learn the short game like other things to.

I'm not going to criticize Baalke for every move, but this doesn't add or reduce any of the little remaining credibility.

Just curious.. Why do you think Baalke has little remaining credibility?

Good signing. Nice complimentary piece for our offense. Bush can still play. People need to stop repeating everything they hear. Just because hes 30 doesnt mean hes slow all of a sudden. 30 is not 40. More than anything he just needs to stay healthy.

Exactly. Gore is 30ish and still plays like he's in his 20's. With the split carries, the niners will at least have 2 healthy backs going into the playoffs. Besides, I think Bush's catching ability out of the backfield is needed. He still has speed to run down the sideline and make people miss. You have Kaep, Torrey, and Bush with speed now. Who was the speedster last year? Kaep and Ellington?

Niners lose a 31 going on 32 year old RB… wtf is Baalke thinking!
Niners gain a RB who just turned 30… wtf is Baalke thinking!

I was gonna ask that as well, but I decided not to feed the troll.
But I'm excited to watch

I was really down about the offseason coaching changes, but the signings that Baalke has made (Dockett, Torrey, Bush, etc.) are showing me that he still cares about winning in 2015. Maybe he's right about the coaches he put in place to??

Go cheer for the seahawks!!! GO NINERS

So you're a fake fan if you don't slobber all over the FO's moves and wear rose colored homer glasses 24/7? Good to know.

Just can't get excited over a 30 year old injury prone back coming off injury. And nothing about a Tomsula/Chryst combo makes me feel optimistic that they can even utilize his skillet. He would've been a much better fit in NE (Brady/McDaniels) or NOLA (Brees/Payton).

Quite happy to suspend the next poster who calls another poster a fake fan or anything resembling, until after the draft.

Good pickup as a 3rd RB! Hopefully he can stay healthy and play lights out when asked to
His last few seasons as a #1 back, before his injury last year, where pretty good. If he can get back to that form then this is a good pick up.

He's doesn't have to carry this team will keep him healthy

And a 30 year old RB coming off an injury, and calling him a speed back, isn't pure speculation?

I really hope this doesn't hurt the chances of us fans seeing either Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, Duke Johnson or Tevin Coleman in red and gold.
