Not to mention all the people who were accurate in saying clearly P Will's initial burst was sapped for some reason...

Early-Mid season last year a lot of people with rose colored glasses were arguing to the death that P Will was the same as always...

Nope. His toe sapped his acceleration, and he retired because of it..

Lol a child beating dumb s**t to help repair our image? I'd rather we see what hyde is made of, he's the kind of back that takes a toll on the defense and gets better as the game goes on. I wouldn't mind seeing Reggie Bush come here for a 3rd down back/kick returner. But us signing a.p. would be disgusting, same with hardy

i think alot of us knew something was up but still felt he was better at 75 per cent than most at 100 per cent,,,, the problem was that ,, that was good enough for us but not good enough for patrick ... and yes if i ripped people who got on willis then i was in denial cuz i did not want something really bad or career ending to be the reason.. i think all of us, cept verbs nephew,, thought all he needed was a long rest and lots of rehab. .. just think of how horrible it would have been to have his feet fail him in a game and he is out there stumbling around like johnny unitas did or oj did at the end of his career

agree,, i think we will not do much else in free agency,, i hope we get a corner, maybe we will get bush cheap, maybe a vet o lline man to provide better competition with the three kids we have coming back than what jonathan marin did

I thiught after the turf toe that might be it. Thats a severe injury for a footballer.

But i thought he would at least try it out first. Guess not.

So sad.
The only upside of sending J.Smith to IR would be that we really get to see what Aldon is made of.

... The bold tore my guts out also... Once we found out what was wrong and he was able to get it fixed I was ... I had dreams of what could have been... Man makes plans and God laughs...

Justin also played next to guys like Manny Lawson and Parys Haralson and those didnt look anything special.
Borland is good but he's no Willis. Willis is not replaceable. He was that good. The defense we've had the past years has been extraordinary. With the superstars we're losing, I just don't see our D being as good this year. You just can't lose players like Willis and Smith and not suffer a decline.

Thats a far point, but I'd like to be absolutly sure with the type of cash its going to take to sign Aldon.
Will no amount of rehab ever get his feet right? Is there any chance at all that his feet heal up, he misses playing, and makes a comeback? So f**king sad to see him go. Now who's going to cover Jimmy Graham? Borland is a like a foot shorter, slower, and has trex arms.. f**k

Very sad season. Too bad lower leg with severe foot are never the same after injuries. I know it's hard to believe, but we have seen the last of Patrick Willis.
