You need to read this thread and know it's not official.

Praise God. Good for him . This makes it a little less painful.

Umm read this thread, Adam Schefter says he's not 100% sure yet, friends are trying to convince him. Regardless, it was my decision to lock your thread we have two Patrick Willis threads already going on.

We have to remember that Willis has been through a LOT in his life...for the first time ever, he's financially secure, gave everything he had to us, and had a chance to commit time to something other than football. He raised his brothers/sisters...it's his comfort zone. Sucks for us but I couldn't respect his decision more. He is true class and may retire as a Niner.

If you think a guy would walk away from 8 mil this year and end his NFL career after only 8 years because a coach was let go then you are batsh!t nuts.

No it's the definition of someone not wasting his time on a losing Franchise. I spent a lot of money last season on tickets, merchandise, food, drinks, and whatever else.. York is the headed toward Daniel Snyder territory and I want NO part of that. If more fans decided not to spend money on the franchise then changes would be made to the FO that are truly needed. Wake up.. Players would rather RETIRE than stay and play for the 49ers. So, I should just accept that the 49ers are garbage and won't improve for a decade and I should continue to spend money to support that? No. Not Happening. I got 50 yard line seats that I am trying to sell.

Then go already and stop replying. What do you care if fans of your former team think you're fair weather for ditching the team when you perceive them as making the wrong decisions in your unprofessional opinion, with no proof other than your opinion to support your argument against being fair weather?
