That road schedule is soft. The Browns, Lions, Steelers, Giants, and Bears?

People are getting WAY too doom and gloom about this hire. Look at the roster. Were still stacked. Were fixing the issues that Harbaugh refused to fix. Playclock management, retarded red zone playcalling, stupid challege flags, etc.

Even if Tomsula blows as a coach were going to have enough Harbaugh talent left to have a good season next year.

I see a solid 10 wins there. SEA, AZ, GB, BAL, and maybe CIN are the only games im not confident in.

We had an injury riddled, drama filled, down year. It happens. We have one of the most talented rosters in the league when healthy, and will be plays loose next year with no tension in the building.

We beat GB 4 times in a row without Crabs, Brooks, Iupati, Gore and maybe Vernon and Justin Smith?

So youre assuming Iupati and Gore are leaving? Justin Smith isnt going to retire on his position coach for his first year of his big break.

VD sucks now, and Crabtree hasnt been good in a while. Still, youre assuming we spend no money and let everyone leave.

Were going to be fine. If you add up our original starting 22 players, they missed a total of 80 combined games last year. The most in the NFL. We still went 8-8.

That schedule is average difficulty at best, and its only because of the division we play in. Are you really afraid of 100 year old Carson Palmer or the QB-less Rams?

I know its tough times right now, but pull it together. Half the people on this board are being drama queens about next season.

The core of this team is still basically the same group that has been going to title games regularly. You honestly think a defense of Aldon Smith, NaVorro Bowman, Patrick Willis, Antoine Bethea, Justin Smith, Ian Williams, Glenn Dorsey, Eric Reid, Chris Borland, Aaron Lynch, etc, etc. is going to go 6-10? Really? Our offense would have to somehow be worse than it was this year. Roman to whoever is an automatic upgrade.

If we hire someone like Chudzinski we could win 11+ games.

Maybe they are just being realistic. I mean you are saying we are guaranteed to beat Pitt in Pitt. They are a legit playoff team that went toe to toe with the Ravens. Lions on the road are no joke either. But those are two easy wins in your delusional mind.

16 very classy loses.
1-15
7-9 at the absolute very best. What's worse than opting for Jim Tomsula as your head coach?.... Waiting for Rob Chudzinski to be your OC.

This entire line of thought is a waste of time right now, How can you even know how good a team will be next year. For instance, Russell Wilson cold tear and ACL dancing with his granny and Seattle would be average.

6-10 me thinks

Our schedule is brutal

Agree with this for sure. If the D is healthy, they alone will win 6-8 games. I look back on the 2014 season and we really should've been 10-6 with an outside shot at 11-5. The Bears and Rams shoulda coulda been wins that we gave away and I feel we woulda put up a better fight to make the playoffs against the Chargers.

Taking that into consideration of the 18 players on IR and a terrible offense we had, with a "weaker" schedule in 2015, I am optimistic but everyone is probably pumping the brakes based on the turnover of staff, which makes sense. We always win and lose games we shouldnt and it averages out in the end. Its winning the MUST WIN games at critical times during the season that will make or break Tomsula and I hope he delivers!

Exactly. Not to mention once a Davis came back on the ol we looked way better offensively and Kilgore will be back. VD will have more than 240 yards and 2 tds for sure. So I think 11-12 is fairly easy unless the team gets injured again. Aldon bowman Brock Willis Davis a Davis Kilgore back, we win games like stl oak maybe Seattle 2nd game chi and ariz.
This is a STUPID question to be asking this early in the off season 1st off we dont have a complete coaching staff 2nd we DO NOT know who is coming & who is going.
