Then there's firing harbaugh, and obviously downgraded the coaching staff. And asks us as fans to hold him accountable. But as most of the fans that go to games now are not real fans so not buying a tticket won't help. Punching him in the mouth and telling him why after would

Every fan feels there owner is the worse. As far as the stadium goes, the players seems to love it better at the new place. You say new fans suck, how do you know how many are new fans? Even if they are new fans, how can you really say they are not real fans. I have been a fan since the late 60's but live in Hawaii, so if I were able to afford a ticket after moving there, I am not a real fan? Stupid Almost everybody else thinks the stadium is better, most of those complaining are the ones that don't like change or didn't want it moved outside SF from what I have been reading.

And that's why the NFL stands for Not For Long. It'll never make 3 yrs, this is gonna absolute catastrophe.

Not to overreact or anything...

So Mangini goes from TE Coach back to DC which he hasn't been in 10 years over Fangio? Come on.

It could be a homerun if he matured a bit, become more humble in the past few years. I've always thought that the worst thing that happened to Mangini was going straight from his failure with the Jets to immediately getting hired by Cleveland. He needed that time to reflect on what he had screwed up, how he could improve, hopefully he's gone through that by now.

#49ers Stats @49ers_Stats
Defensive ranking of teams where Mangini was DC or HC (Yds/Pts):

2005: 26/17
2006: 20/6
2007: 18/19
2008: 16/18
2009: 31/21
2010: 22/13
How does a Mangini D apply pressure? 4 man, LB blitz, CB S blitz?

This!...they have hired some solid coaches on defense, I don't hate this hire. I mean look at teams like Baltimore they keep throwing out top defenses even though their coaches keep changing....SF has the talent and I will say Baalke has a eye for drafting defense.

I keep telling dudes that BAL is our current model. We hired Nolan then we put the GM over him then we fired Nolan and promoted his subordinate then fired the GM to promote his subordinate then fired Sing him then hired BAL coach's brother then fired him to promote his subordinate that we believe can function as BAL coach does. We have modeled ourselves after BAL where we have a CEO coach and a strong GM on the talent acquisition side. We have an even better cap guy and we are expecting to field elite talent annually as a draw to coaches looking towards a strong situation for themselves. We now have to win and get our reputation up to where it needs to be. Once we have established ourselves as an organization and not just a Harbaugh success story we will endure long term and sustained success and we will look back on this day and thank Parcells Trent and yes Jed! This team can't just be about Harbaugh anymore. It has to be about a strong organization. Guys like Harbaugh don't stick around but guys like Ozzie Newsome and we hope Trent Baalke do

He makes his teams better. He went to Ny and CLE with bad teams. Made the defense better
One thing I'm looking about hires/interviews today.

Biggest drawback of Tomsula is lack of coordinator/HC experience.

Look at the hires/interviews.

Sparano: Ex-HC
Mangini: Ex-HC
Fewell: Ex-DC
Tarver: Ex-DC

Even the ASSISTANT O-Line coach was a HC in college.

All of these guys were well enough regarded as coaches to obtain a higher level coaching job and are returning to their roots.

Former Giants DC Perry Fewell is excepted to interview with the 49ers.

that is good

Very good. He's got a lot of experience coordinating. Should make a good positional coach.

8 years as a DB coach and 8 years as a DC and part of a year as HC in the NFL plus coached DL and DB's and Wr in College

Our players are looking forward to making their own history
Pat fans hstes him and thinks he's the snitch that broke spygate. I don't know if that that's true at all, but based in his past stops, I didn't even want him here under the limited capacity he was in the past two seasons.

Agree he obviously is very bright I think we all just feel a little off solely because he was already on our staff, as long as we hire an OC from outside we will all relax a bit
