Jim Tomsula FIRED thread

So ready & excited to see what Tomsula & his staff do with this team this season! 49ers ride or die, all day everyday!

2011 Defense + a FG offense got us to the NFCCG but that was far as it could go
2012 Defense + Kaep making JH offense look better then it was..to have it all crumble away in the last drive due to JH's ineptness in the SB
2013 Defense + JH forcing Kaep to change + Calling the same plays..got us but still can't get us past Seattle in the NFCCG
2014 Defense + JH Forcing Kaep to change + Calling the same plays finally didn't trick anyone in the NFL
2015 would have been worse if he stayed as he never showed or even tried to correct the biggest issues that we had on offense

To the unknowingly....A lot of those wins and trips to big games made Jim Harbaugh's trench coat a little thicker so you couldn't see that he had no clothes under that coat.

What he did was take a middle of the pack team and get us to the NFC Championship game in his very first year, and then again the next two. We have a lot of talent on this team, so let's see what JT can do. I REALLY hope he can get us to the promised land, but I have a feeling many will be missing the days when we had JH leading us. Hope I'm wrong......guess we'll have to see how this plays out. I don't really get attached to the coach, I only care about the results. If JT can get it done, fantastic. JT has an 8-8 team with a lot of talent.....let's see if he can get it done like JH did when he first cam in as head coach. You may not like "how" JH got us to the big games, but the fact is, he got us there three times in a row.

And I don't care how thick his coat was....I care about whether we can back to those big games......NOT an easy thing to achieve.

For any coach it's a tough game to get to...but there are teams that can get there because of just Defense alone.

JH was supposed to be an Offensive genius and the second coming of Walsh...but that was just a fantasy 9er fans wanted to believe including myself. Midway through his first year i was wondering where is this offense ?

Gave him a pass in 2011, gave him a pass in 2012..for sure now would would see this genius at work ! Nope never came and teams publicly announced that they knew our plays and signals in 2013...since 2013 !

2014 was no hope and our defense was already pushing their limit because of all the injuries...followed by coach who couldn't lift his own playbook so save the Offenses life.

So now we are here...and JT is already correcting mistakes..idk what this year will be like..but i like what i see and hear so far on offense and Defense

Got to give harbs credit for sure but there was a ton of talent on the team...we sucked for a decade and had high pick after high pick lol.

But the only season they had a good offense was the year we went to the SB...they actually called plays to the stegnths of Kap like roll outs, pistol/read options, play action etc. Kap actually outplayed Brady, Brees, and Rogers that season.

I thought his play calling or lack there of after that season was awful and I didn't see a ton of growth from our younger players....harbs belongs in college ball where he gets new players every year.

the failure of him to make half time adjustments last year, which the result was dead last in scoring in the second half in the nfl proved that his tit has run dry, his brand of football had hit the wall and that is exactly why he ran back to the nfl.. plus he would not have to deal with veteran ball players who lost faith in him after one to many times of him making them scream whose got it better after we got beat by the bears, raiders, hawks, cards and chargers

If Jim Tomsula doesn't put the pads on at least once this year, I am not a believer in him :)
