Mad? More like embarrassed

I know exactly how it was at the Stick. Where does that one come from? I would hope you would come with a better argument. Haven't missed a game in 10 years, I think I know. But what do you think I don't know?

Actually, nevermind. LOL. If it helps you sleep at night to think I don't go to games or I'm lying or something then fine. Whatever. at least when they talk about our sorry ass fans I'll know who to talk about by name and I can reference back to this thread

Spam goes in I don't know where. Complained about wifi first. People just don't get it. SF, since Silicon Valley, is casual fans. We will never get the 80's/early 90's fans back in the stadium. Deal with it. It's all about the keep'n up with jones fans. Only reason people go to games is so they can Instagram and brag to their techy folks that they went to the game only to know that their techy friends had better seats. Ha ha ha.

Even the 80/90's fans weren't like what people in here want...

Ok,
we had a full year to assess the "home field" at Levi this year. I am still baffled by the fact that you can't get a hot link at the stadium. I'll save that rant for another post.
This rant is about the Noise level of the home crowd at the stadium. It was sub par, it was embarrassing. You know it and I know it. THE 49ERS front office and the players on the field know it. Instead of complaining about it, I've decided to put on my marketing hat in attempts to help the team solve the issue.

I sit in section 109. My fellow fans in that section must dislike me. I am constantly turning around in attempts to get fans involved in the game from a noise perspective. I chastise fans for being too " wine and cheese". Right around the 3rd game, I took my 20 oz. empty soda cup, I took my car key and I carved the bottom part of the cup out. For the rest of the game, I used that as a sound cone to yell through. Fast forward to the Charger game. I took a look around during the 2nd quarter and noticed 7 people in my section "borrowed" my sound cone idea. My son is the one that pointed it out. He said, " dad, they stole your idea ". The lightbulb went off.....

My idea is for the 49ers to sell a cup with a bit more of a cone shape than the existing cup. The bottom should be perforated, with two little pop out handles on it.
( Like coffee cup handles ) . On the side of the cup on both sides in big letters, it should read, "NINER NOISE". This way, when the sound video personnel need more noise, then can illustrate someone on the large video screen yelling through the cone. And they can call out for NINER NOISE to urge the crowd on.

Too many benefits to list.
1. Gets the crowd more involved in having fun and supporting the team.
2. Helps sell more soda. ( Jed will love this )
3.Could potentially be free if they allow a corporate sponsor added to the Noise cone.

Feedback?

I'd get a patent on that s**t ASAP!

Candlestick games got loud. Levis stadium doesn't because we have a different crowd here.

Anyone who thinks the 'Stick wasn't getting loud simply has ridiculous Seattle-like expectations of what crowd noise should be like.

Hey 49AllTheTime, is Joecool right? Are you on instagram the whole time bragging to your techy friends?

Yea we got loud. Too bad it was usually only for important games. Wish it coulda been consistent. But IT IS a different crowd. At this point I just wish people would stay in their seats and participate. They'll keep feeding them instructions on how to make noise and hopefully they'll catch on and we could be respectable.

The stick was way louder the wussy wagon we currently inhabit.

sad but true...
I want a nice quiet game, where I can hear the refs whistle and the players grunts. To hell with all this supercilious noise.

But if you must...

Turn the field into the worlds biggest speaker and move the players around like the first electric football games!

Here's a possible solution:

Sell more SRO(standing room only) tickets(these would end up being more diehard fans), by the 10min remaining mark of the 3rd quarter anyone with a SRO ticket can occupy any vacant seat in his designated section.

The extra 5mins past half time gives regular ticket holders a chance to get their food bev etc, but they know if they leave it vacant too long then they lost it. If Jed wants to make it tech friendly develop an app that shows if a seat is folded up it then shows up available in the 3rd qtr.
