Candlestick was a dirt bin located in the heart of San Fran, so all kinds of fans could access it.

Silicon valley's Levi's was specifically designed for corporate America, and it clearly reflected this year. Even sports media had a laugh about it on several occasions.

Good job Niner fans.

suck this year, the corporate America will sell their tix for cheap, and faithful will swarm in like vultures And turn it up.

It's Yorks plan from the beginning to do this while racking up some high draft picks .
Give my sister season tickets. She is hard of hearing. Boy, she talks loud!

I think that's a big oversimplification.

Yes, there are a lot of "noisemakers" that can't afford to get in the new building, but the bathroom incident notwithstanding, it is a SAFER experience now than it was at the 'stick. I wouldn't take my 8 or 4 year old kids to game before. Now I'm more likely to.

One thing that is true here...there are ALOT of first time season ticket holders at Levis who simply haven't learned the drill. It just takes time.

Once everyone has seen all the cool new stuff (and that included people who buy tix from Season Ticket Holders) this will all change.

Case in point, I have a friend who is a RAIDER fan. He asked if he could buy some of my tix simply because he wanted to see the new building. I didn't sell them to him BTW. After a few years, the newness of the whole thing will wear off and more people will be ther to watch games and not just check out the new toy in the bay area.

I have another friend who couldn't give 2 sh*ts about football, but SHE asked about my tix.

This will all work itself out in the end when people who never should have gotten tix sell theirs and more dedicated fans buy them and when all the shiny new toys aren't as shiny anymore.

Gee. I wonder how many YEARS that'll take. Maybe by then we will be in the cellar again and then you can say that it's not shiny and new anymore but the team sucks so why bother? Then I guess they'll return to the same Candlestick fan that tells you to sit down and shutup or they'll tell the ushers you're ruining their experience.

Meanwhile, we don't need home field advantage. Seattle only plays good at home because the air smells cleaner in the Northwest. Sure the stadium opens a few hours before the game starts but the fun is being in a club during the game even though you pay for a live game. We need to earn the right to be laughingstocks.

I guess we support the Niners. Yup, sure do. I can see that from my bank account. But, on Sunday, we have ONE JOB. As a whole, we FAIL

So in closing, as I said originally, to you and all those like you: Thank You for your continued support

You done whining?

I been saying the same thing all season.

When the jumbotron no longer displays, "shhhhh, 49ers offense at work ". Then we will know our fans have a clue. My guess? 2-3 years.

Fix the fans, then the noise will be fixed...

When a large amount of the fanbase hates everything about our team, it's no wonder why they don't get loud. They probably hate something about the stadium like it's scorching 86 degree days or the wifi doesn't run at 258.5 mbps . Then they have to watch the QB play that they hate, the coach that they hate, the offensive coordinator they hate, all in a stadium build by someone they hate.

All these half ass fans need to start selling their tickets to people who actually like this team and have some football knowledge. The rest need to be at home hating on a message board.
We need to get a petition going by like minded SBL holders in each level of the stadium, and move those of us who want to make noise and support the team into certain designated supporter sections.

Give us the South endzone from the 100s to the upper deck. Let US create the home field advantage and allow the tourists or those that just want to sit and watch in a different area of the stadium.

Many (European) football teams have done this with great success, and allows you to get your hardcore fans together to create some atmosphere.

I'm really thinking about getting a website up and running and having SBL holders who are interested in this concept coming together to see if we can get some traction with the front office. Even if we could get a few thousand of us to start it would have a huge impact.

I'm in 123 and I try my best to make noise on D, but often times get yelled at by people who want me to "sit down and shut up".

If we want an atmosphere at Levi's its on us to do it, especially the SBL holders.

nothing you can do about the noise when the fanbase sits on their hands the whole game

LOLing because it's true
It does help that CenturyLink Field has a overhanging structure to reflects sound in the stadium. Levis has no overhanging structure whats so ever.

The people who say that tend not to understand the point of coming to a football game. If you just want to see it, stay at home and let somebody who actually wants to be a part of the team go in your place.
Serve more wine so the wine sippers get rowdy
Free towels after the game if the fan reach a certain amount of noise during the game ?
