OTC, I've posted this before, but would agree with all but two points.

QB....would really like to put that one off til 2017...use a high pick if needed then. We have to have a bridge QB, and that is what I am hoping gab is. If he plays himself up to a starter, well that would be just fine. Nice thing about this is if he plays well enough, we then don't have to have a franchise qb this coming yr. We can think on gab another yr. The reason for this is obvious:

C, RG, RT, passrushing OLB, DT, CB, RB....and they all have to be STARTERS. To come close to filling that list , we can't be trying to get a hi round Qb. Would much rather sit on that one more yr if gab plays well. IF he bombs like kap, then, yeah, we have to have a QB. But his pocket awareness, footwork, accuracy, reads, look offs, and getting the ball out make me think he WILL make it as a bridge. Then he gets a yr to determine if he can be the franchise QB or not.

Second, is AD. He quit once, he'll probably quit twice. Worse, he was NOT a good pass blocker, mainly a run blocker. Pass pro was not good. Ergo, I hope he gets traded if he comes back, or better, just doesn't return.

I'm totally against dumping Amhad Brooks. We've selected a bunch of OLB's in recent years: Lemonier, Fleming, Johnson, Harold etc and the only one that worked out was Lynch. It's very likely that ditching Brooks is going to end badly.
Offensive minded coach or proven OC
-New coaching staff, maintain Mangini at whatever the cost
-Ditch drafting injured players or players who cannot contribute day one
-QB with our first pick (and let him sit a year) regardless of how well Gabbert plays (unless he leads us to the playoffs)
-Spend some picks to move back into the first and draft an O-linman, and draft one in the 4th or 5th.
-Draft an ILB no later than the 3rd, move up if need be

There's no good QBs in the first

In that order.

GM who can properly manage the CEO would be good enough. It all flows down from there

for one.
.

8. RB - Hyde's violent style is going to have him at risk. We need starter-caliber depth here in my opinion. If Draughn keeps looking solid, I'd keep him as veteran depth.

I would probably also add in some developmental TE talent and for insurance. McDonald should be relegated to #3 TE and strictly a blocking guy by next year. He'll have to compete hard to keep a roster spot. Just way too many drops.

I know it's one position in your points, and I agree with most. Save at RB.

As you mentioned he did well. However the stats show Draughn missed 66% of protection assigments and that's against the banged up Falcons and that he only picked up 33% of his blocking assignments.

For me that is not doing well.
#1 QB
#2 OLB
#3 OG
OP updated per AB's terrific 2016 cap outlook information: http://www.ninersnation.com/2015/12/8/9854742/49ers-salary-cap-2016-projected-cap-roster-bonuses-potential-cut

He looked bad in preseason because of the lack of skill and talent around him. He looked very good against Denver at the end of the blowout and we know he's actually won games as a starter in Jax.

Besides, the team says they love what Gabbert brings to the QB room/film room. No rookie, especially in this draft, is going to challenge him for his spot.

Boom!
We need a CEO who doesn't think 4-8 is "fun."
We need a real WR, Torey Smith is terrible. He can't run a route to save his life. All he is good for is running fast in a straight line. We need to draft an elite WR that we can't have here for 10 years!
Man, that's a lot of injuries/outs/I.R's.

QB: (Colin Kaepernick)
RB1: (Carlos Hyde & Mike Davis)
RB2: (Reggie Bush)
TE: (Garrett Celek)
FB: (Busta Anderson)
Z WR: (DeAndre Smelter & Dres Anderson)
LG: (Alex Boone)
LDE: (Glenn Dorsey)
TED: (Michael Wilhoite)
SLOT (S/CB): (Jimmie Ward)
FS: (L.J. McCray)
SS: (Antoine Bethea)
N=14

Don't forget, Staley's dinged up (left knee), as is Brooks (Toe/Brain), Lynch and McDonald (Head) are coming back after serious concussions, Kilgore just came back (Lower Leg), etc.
