Lol compare his numbers to Sapp and then come back to us newb

Yeah, Sapp's are way better. What point are you trying to make, exactly?
Because ppl on this board dont appeeciate great players. Check out the amount of posts between armstead and bowman. These people concentrate on mediocre/bad players and often dont recognize great ones.

This isn't the Junior Bryant thread.
Bryant Young was awesome. Didn't get double teamed? He was constantly double teamed. HE allowed Stubby to roam free , earning Stubby DPOY and a fat contract in DC. How did that play out without Young taking the heat off of him? The only reason people say he wasn't as good as Sapp was because Sapp was a loudmouth begging for attention while Young was the consummate pro on and off the field. In this era of ESPN , loudmouths get noticed while guys keeping their heads down and mouths shut, don't. Not saying that Sapp wasn't good, but BY is right up there too!

This, one of the greatest 49er defenders. Not sure what the haters were seeing, but BY was a phenomenal player.

LOL, Stubblefield had 8 sacks in the 3 games Young missed in 97.

Stubblefield got the majority of the double teams (when there were double teams) while the two played together. You obviously don't even bother actually watching, though. When fans start talking about "double teams" and "double coverage," 99 times out of 100 they are talking out of their rear end.

One problem with that statement. They aren't way better.

Sapp had 16.5 sacks in 2000. Young never came close to that.

50+ fewer tackles only 7 sacks more yet in the hall and young isn't now why? BY was the motor on some of the best d's in the 90s and he never slowed down even when they moved him to end because of necessity. He's not the self promoter Sapp is and that may be the only reason why he's bit in yet.
he didnt bust up jerrys knee with facemask penalty. another reason sapp must be better.

What's with all the newb accounts trying to incite warnings lately. Young and Sapp had similar careers. Sapp slightly better all around player, slightly better all around athlete. Young a class act while Sapp was a classless cheap ass player.
Cuz he was trash
