Gore, yes
Owens, should.
But then, we would run out of numbers.

I feel like Gore definitely deserves the honor but we're going to run out of numbers soon. Especially because they might unofficially retire 52 now also
52 isn't getting retired. Maybe if he played another 4 years but not now.

Ya they will, if they dont retire Willis and Gores numbers I'll be very dissapointed. Especially Willis, because he only played for us
Thats not the reason I think we should retire it, thats just a bonus. His play is the reason. Dude was one the greatest to ever play his position, I dont care if he retired young. So did Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, and Calvin Johnson.
While PW was great..i don't think he was one of the greatest..but he's def. close
imo, top inside/middle LBs of all-time:
1) Ray Lewis
2) Jack Lambert
3) Dick Butkus
4) Patrick Willis
5) Mike Singletary
6) Brian Urlacher
I understand because his short career you'll probably disagree with this, but I'm rating this list based on talent, not stats.

I still say #21 belonged to ERIC WRIGHT (1981), then Deion, then Frank Gore..
so NO, please do not retire 21 for Frank Gore.. especially since we would not retire #33 for Roger Craig..

I think the fact that such great players wore 21 supports the fact we should retire it. Not just for Gore but for all of them.

Frank Gore HOF watch: He needs 104 yards to pass Eric Dickerson for 7th place on the career rushing yards list.

I really hope they bring Frank for one year. He needs one more season to surpass Curtis Martin as the Number 4 spot in the All Time Rushing List (14,101 yds) and surpass Ladainian Tomlinson as the 5th spot in All-Time Total Yards from Scrimmage (18,456 yds)
He should do this wearing Red and Gold.
49er 2018 RB Unit:
Frank Gore- Joe Williams - Matt Breida
He can teach Joe Williams a few things. And you Can't argue with Joe Staley. He endorses his returned.

Yeah for the Eagles, Cowboys and Bungals. Lets remember he was only here a short time and burned a ton of bridges, we're talking retiring a jersey.
