Kawasaki is one of the very few who has let being a popular Bay Area sports TV figure get to his head and it is obvious. How dare Kap not answer to Kawacocky.

So everybody wants to tar and feather a guy who rips into the team, even if they have it coming? Kap and Harbaugh are jackasses to the media and both seem to act like they are above everyone else. A lot of franchises would not tolerate Kaepernick going in front of the media dressed and acting like he does, especially those headphones. Most of you take it so personal like you are defending family members, makes no sense to me.

We live in an age when we cant even call them Journalist anymore, I only refer to them as "Media" now. Its hard for me to put all the blame on them. Their job is harder and harder with social media and this day in age of information. I kind of liken it to a professional athlete who takes PED's so as to have a longer career or stay in the game. This is their job, its what they know how to do. In Tim's case and the media as a whole they have switched to using the term "sources" and calling it Truth to keep their jobs and have readers. Sure they may have people they talk to or perceive situations and interprete them in their own mind and then go and write a story calling it Truth based on Sources. This is just the way media has gone in this country, even respectable Journalist have given up and resorted to the new world of news. Its a sad thing, Tim however has become a total hack, he even writes in his stories antagonizing readers to hate him and write him and how he will block you on twitter. He has gotten out of hand, and certainly has given up all Journalistic integrity that he ever built through any hard work earlier in his career. It frankly sad, but the good thing is that this is America and guys like him dont last. Mediocrity is a dime a dozen

I'm believing that one poster more and more.
the poster that said he went to a sports bar in Kansas City to which some Bay Area sports writers were also there... Tim K and Ann Killion and others.....during Giants World Series.
anyway, Tim K and Killion were cheering every time something bad happened to the 9ers or when Kap was sacked.
but oddly enough. Tim K screamed out "there's the man!" when Trent Baalke was on screen.
I wish photos were taken.

If some of you think Jim and Kap are jackasses then you really don't want to see me in those situations. Kap and Jim have every right to be kiss asses or jerks. So does the media. We have every right as fans to call either side out as well. All I care about is football. Win or lose. Judge that!

I can know everything I need to know about a team by watching the games. Interviews basically tell me nothing and are just a way for the media to get their share of the profits.

You're not a real 49ers fan until you're blocked from Kawakami's blogs and twitter accounts, like me, lol… Kawakami is just an arrogant narcissist that indulges in insulting his reader's intelligence. It's usually pretty obvious which articles are his, he never talks about Xs and Os, or what the team needs are, or anything positive, it's all about what irritates him and nothing about football. Best thing to do is ignore him and don't read his hate articles and he will go away. It's not like there's a large contingency of 49er haters rushing to read what dirt Kawakami has found out from the team's jock cleaner. Oh sure there might be a Raider fan here and there, but most of Raider Nation he's already alienated some time ago. We are his only audience, if he continues to alienate us, who's going to be left to read him?
My advice… Give him enough rope and let him hang himself.
"Honk" if you've been blocked!!!
Go Niners!

Dude you sound very ignorant. A. Jim and Kap don't handle the media any different than Bellicheck and Brady or Marshawn Lynch. Some guys just don't fool with the media while others can't wait to get a mic in their face and say something dumb. Of all the things in the world to worry about how Kap handles the media is the last thing Im worried about. Im sure if you were getting bashed by someone you would be reluctant to answer any questions they have for you. B. Kap gets paid to where those headphones, and even if he didn't he has every right to wear them. They are just a set of headphones, most players in the nfl wear them before and after games. As far as the way he dresses, I dont see any issue with it. Kap is one of the best dressed players in the NFL. Get a life bro. It seems as if your bashing him for being young, more so than anything else. Get out the stone ages.

Kawakami the backstabber he is continues to trash the team. Any one else read this? Just look at this headline...
"Colin Kaepernick's big talent and small-time mindset, though the 49ers' front office is too weak to even know it's a problem"
That is the headline to the article.
Small-time mindset? Kaepernick? Really?? You're going to insult the intelligence of our starting QB? Much of the article is Kawakami complaining that Kaep is "rude" in media sessions. He writes that Kaep's decisions are "mindless".
I do not envy the NFL QB being grilled by the media. There are thousands of reporters and they all want to ask questions. Often the same question. Over and over. And over some more. It's hard to give the same thought out detailed response a thousand times. And if a player does have a long, revealing response to a question you can bet that the media dogs are salivating just waiting to take something out of context, blow it up, and make a controversial story out of it.
So Kaepernick keeps his answers short and simple. Kawakami blasts him and the 49ers for doing so. Because poor Kawakami's job is made harder when Kaepernick doesn't give Kawakami any fodder for his trash articles. Without anything juicy to write about he's left with filth like this to churn out. He's an embarrassment to our team and fans.
I personally believe this is the reason there are so many articles about Harbaugh leaving or getting fired. The media clearly doesn't like him, as he gives them nothing for their articles. In the back of their minds, they all wish the 49ers had a coach who was much more revealing. I think they are deliberately trying to run him out of town, and see the recent struggles of the team an opportunity to do so.

If you don't like Tim Kawakami's writing, you do not like journalism. That simple. Guy's like him and Damon Bruce call it neutral. Observe and report.

Got to partially disagree with you 24plus. Kap IS rude to the media. I think JH is actually better with them this year. Kap though, I gotta admit, I cringe at his interviews. He's not as bad as Lynch, but seems to be trying to give him a run for his money with the attitude and monosyllabic responses.
