Our TE has been banged up all year & of course our D, despite playing well is beat up. Our offensive coaches are killing us, specifically the OL and OC have sucked, changing our identities constantly week to week is hurting the OL which is killing the offense. With all that said, both the Seahawks and Cardinals have a tough road ahead, the Cards luck can't last the entire F'n season, the Eagles and Cowboys have lost their starting QB, people who are giving up now, please do me and every true faithful fan a favor, stop watching the games & stop complaining 24/7 on here.

Hoping for other teams to stumble so that we can sneak into the playoffs is a really crappy way to root for your team. Esp when the offense has more talent than anybody else n the league. Everybody that is pissed right now has the absolute right to be. Nothing has gotten better offensively and its probably getting worse. This shouldn't be happening.

The issue isn't with the defense though. Its the offense that has the issues.

We've seen dozens of times that a great defense can more than make up for a stumbling offense.

The secondary won't make this a great defense

A dominant elite pass rusher and the 2 best ILB's in the game sure can though.

I AM THE GREAT AND POWERFUL OZ. WHY HAVE YOU COME TO SEE ME?

well....sir...we lack heart, a brain, and courage....

GET OUT OF MY SIGHT! YOU ARE BORING AND HAVE NO IDENTITY!

...bbbut...we have talent...!

TALENT WITHOUT A SOUL IS AN OFFENSE TO EXISTENCE ITSELF! BE GONE!
Meanwhile,Nick Foles and Tony Romo are likely done.

Our wildcard ,at least is looking good.I think by playoff time,we can beat anyone, but if Roman wants to stink it up ,he needs to leave. Not running against the rams showed costly.

With all the talent on offense, and can't score points at will. There us an issue. The D is not the issue

Not that the OL wanted to block anyways. I do recall one good run that was called back for holding on Boone I believe.

I think the niners are just having a bit of a down year, happens to the best of teams. They'll probably finish with a winning record but with the Cards beating everyone it's looking more and more likely that they miss the postseason. I have no doubt next year will be much better, years like this just happen sometimes for a variety of reasons - injuries, coaching, bad luck, etc. I think the loss of Drevno is a huge reason the offense is really struggling, as Solari is basically hot doodoo. Good thing the Giants won the WS so that the niners kind of sucking doesn't sting as bad as it would've had they lost, at least for me. And it's not totally out of the realm of possibility that they turn it around and start playing their best football, make the playoffs and finally get that elusive SB win.
A rational analysis. Yes, there are problems...like offensive line coaching and Offensive coordinator....Teams have down years...things run in cycles. Calling for Harbaugh's head it over the top.
Almost certainly not our year...nothing to support the idea this thing is gonna turn 180degrees next week...

I'm at a loss for words. From 1 to 10 on the excruciatingly painful loss scale.. This one is a 15..

I agree, although you are not living up to your username.

I was at the game...that second to last play where Bruce Miller lined up as a lead blocker for Gore was truly one of the worst play calls I have ever seen. You're on the goal line and you try to pass it through the back of the end zone for a TD? Are they constantly trying to recreate our Superbowl and NFC Championship fail? Gore could have jogged into the end zone. Instead, Chokernick couldn't even hang onto the ball long enough to dive one yard in. I was speechless, couldn't figure out what the hell was going on. Mentally, I'm exhausted trying to follow this team. Chokernick has the physical talents, but his decision-making and general sense of football leaves a lot to be desired.

With Arizona and Seattle's victories combined with this loss to St. Louis, reaching the playoffs is a long shot. We're 4-4 and have to get ahead of the Seahawks, Packers and Cowboys/Eagles in order to get a wild card birth. I really think we will have to sweep Seattle and beat Arizona to make it to the playoffs.

We still have to beat the Saints, Giants, and the Chargers to. Hell the Raider game might be close the way the niners have been playing.
10-6 is the high side....more likely 9-7 or 8-8 the way we are playing.

Wins: Giants, Redskins & Raiders

That's 7-4.

Split with Seahawks

That's 8-5

Leaves us with Saints, Chargers & Cardinals

Prediction: Win 2/3 finish @ 10-6

The reason you are here does not matter to me, but this made me laugh. Thanks!
Something is flat wrong with that much talent. They haven't been executing all year. Penalties...They don't have the fire and heart they did during that three year run. Maybe they just don't believe anymore....

THE OFFENSE ON PAPER IS THE MOST TALENTED OFFENSE IN THE NFL!

LLUPATI
DAVIS
STALEY
VERNON
CRABS
ALL OVERALL DRAFT PICKS

GORE
KAP
BOLDIN
STEVIE J
B LLOYD

WE ARE AS STACKED AS YOU CAN GET ON OFFENSE YET WE HAVE FANS ALREADY GIVING UP ON THIS TEAM ON OFFENSE.

DEFENSE

WINS

CHAMPIONSHIPS

Without a stout defense ,you have nothing.
10 wins maybe gets us in. I just don't see the 49ers doing it. They lost 3 games this year they should have won. It's just not their year.
Too many pieces missing. The offense line wasn't that good to begin with, so losing just one or two of your established players makes them that much more vulnerable. So now the QB is getting sacked more and begins to feel the pressure, and everything just snowballs from there.

Year in and year out, you see good teams lose numerous good players and their season goes downhill from there. This is why you can never predict who will wind up in the Superbowl at the end of the year.

It doesn't matter how good you are ... if you lose enough of your regulars, your season will suffer.

Yes, there's still the wildcard ... providing that everyone gets healthy and starts playing well.

Until they're mathematically eliminated, there's a glimmer of hope. I can still remember the Raiders going in as a wild card and winning it all!

Borland took the blame for today's loss haven't heard from the dip s**t qb who fumbled on the 1 yard line yet. We made a mistake losing Alex. I hope people can throw this comment back in my face one day but frankly I'm depressed and ashamed kaepernick is our qb.
after i have calmed down i think back to us being 6-4 last season and ending up 12-4

4-4 this season
let's do it again.
