Was that PI in the first half the reason they had like 30 yards of offense for the vast majority of the 2nd half..............hmmm. Fisher is just the same mediocre coach as he's always been, with undisciplined, cheapshotting players. If not for Eddie George and Steve McNair, his ass would have been out of the NFL long ago.

I think we'll get raped in Denver as well, but I wouldn't go as far as to say we're uninspired. Since Harbaugh came on board, this is the best passing attack we've had.

After 3 and almost a half seasons, you think they would have learned by now..........

"We're going to do this, no matter what the defense does, we're going to force it."

Yep, go with that strategy against bad team during the regular season and even some good ones but come playoff time we blew 3 sb wins not being able to put teams away or putting it in when it mattered most.

Way too many analyst from many different teams seem to have beef with their old team or a player on that team. They is also a lot of homerism on the other end of that as well. I didnt hear what he said so I wont comment any further. Side note though (nothing to do with steve)... does it seem like any former player that was great even if you cant speak and cant provide insight gets a job on espn, nfln, etc? Many of them just aren't qualified but because the general fan is so gullible they will believe anything they say because he was a great football player. Doesn't work that way. Look at Randy Moss, Deion Sanders, Michael Irivn, Jerry Rice, Steve Young at times, Emmitt Smith, etc.

I'm just responding to the posts. I heard Steve and I didn't like some of what he said but these guys had me realize that maybe Steve doesn't like the guy. To me that's stupid! Be a man bro. This ain't a popularity contest!

Maybe my expectations are too high but my thought is, if you've got a team on the ropes and you need one first down to run the clock out, then you find a way to get that first down, especially with as many weapons as the 49ers have, especially against a weaker team, if you can't do it versus the lesser teams, why would you expect to do it against the better ones....

That was abit aggravating when they had our run game completely shut down. However, I think they made those calls because they knew their defense could lee them from scoring.

WTF? I'm not saying the Niners won't get lit up, but they're playing essentially their second string defense, and they're playing well. They got off to a slow start tonight, but they really picked it up as the game went on. If the Niners can get a good performance from the offense a a decent defensive performance, I think they can stand with the Broncos.

Fangio is really showing some different looks and showing he can adapt to the strenghts/weaknesses of his defense. Up to this point it might be one of the finest coaching jobs I've seen. Seriously, go through who the starters were last year and what he is working with now, it is absurd.

Again, not saying the Niners will beat the Broncos, but I don't think they will get blown out by any margin.

This, 49ers have a good shot versus Denver. Not sure why people are acting like they are a juggernaut or something, they've eeked out wins vs KC and struggled versus Arizona until they put in their 3rd string QB, as well as the Jets, they nearly blew a huge lead vs Indy.

yup it's clear as day. he doesn't like him at all but there's nothing he can do about it. kap played almost flawless football and had a lot of drops or his percentage would've been even better

Well if Steve don't like Kap. F*** him because I'm all about the team. Kap idol Favre owned Steve for years so if Steve ain't down Steve can EAD! Now critiquing a guy is one thing but not liking him? That's BS!

it's ok. he'll be the 1st one to give kap a fake hug in feb saying congrats on winning the big one.
