Ohh please. All 9 years of Romo's career and you're claiming he was never surrounded by a super talented team?? Maybe last year and the season before that you might, might have a slight claim, but 9 seasons of the Dallas Cowboys and Parcells/T.O./DWare/JerryJonesSpending.
Yes, that's what I'm saying.
2007 Playoffs, Giants game. 4th qtr, Patrick drops the game winning TD pass in the end zone. Right in the hands. Blame that on Romo, though.
The "Special Teams draft:" of 2009. 12 players drafted, none on the team right now. No one left from a 12 man draft.
Jerry trading a 1st, 3rd, and 6th for Roy Williams the WR. Where is he now? Out of the league.
2009 playoffs. Everything looks great, nice and shiny, and guess what? Vikings game. The OL is exposed for what it is - old and underachieving. Romo sacked 6 times in a blow out loss. Guess you want to blame that on him too?
Tony Romo has never,
ever had as talented as team or coaches that the SB winners have had since he's been in the league. Bill Parcells was great, and Sean Payton is the one who saw Romo throwing to WRs at the combine. They both left but Wade Phillips and the Ginger Savior came around. Are you saying they're as good of coaches as Harbaugh? The other Harbaugh? Carroll?
Speaking of Sean Payton, I have always wondered what would happen if Jerry took the bait in 2006 and took the 3rd rounder that the Saints offered for Romo. He wouldn't be considered a choker now. He may have gotten a ring.
