so many key players out with injuries, half (at least) the roster playing through injuries, but we still managed to get to the NFCC... this WILL be our year

same old story, different day.
but let's be fair... it's a new season, got more reinforcements, the o-line looks healthy and Kap is really progressing (seems ready call plays from LOS). We gotta give the big Twinkie the benefit of the doubt... for now, wouldn't you say?

I have been trying to ever since he called the reverse to williams on a wet field vs the giants which was a disaster and led to their first touchdown. I just think after two plus years of mind boggling calls and decisions in many games including key ones at key times on big stages,, not to mention poor red zone offense at key times in key games,, we should not be setting around still saying.,,, "well hopefully this is the year roman pulls his head out of his twinkie infested ass"

Baalke's really going all out to give Harbaugh the deepest, most talented roster he's had. Man, no matter who makes the 53-man, it's gonna be rich and deep. I can see the offense opening up more, given the depth and talent of our receiving corps. Vernon & VMac could be one of the best TE tandems in the league. OL is big and bad, with quality depth. Shoot, look at our RB corps...talent all over the place. Hyde's a real thumper and he'll make an impact. Hope Lattimore can stay healthy...'cause if he does, just watch him grow. Gore's not done and Hunter's still that ace change-of-pace RB. So, I look for a more wide-open offense...we'll still pound the rock, but with a 4-headed monster there, it'll really help Kap exploit the passing game.
Defense will miss Bowman, no doubt, but I expect them to be one of the best in the league. Again, quality depth is the key. Between Wilhoite & Borland, Willis will have a stout dude playing alongside. I'm really not worried about our secondary...Baalke added speed and size, both much-needed. Bethea's the perfect compliment to Reid. Jimmie Ward will make an impact. Front 7 will be stout...addition of Carradine on the DL is huge. Anxious to see what Lynch can do...he looks the part of a real pass rusher, so if Aldon misses some games, he could provide some needed depth along w/Lemonier/Skuta.
ST's are looking outstanding...now they've added Costanza...woof.

Better RB rotation(srry fantasy football owners)and utilization of their skills. I kno that's on the OC but still, screens would be nice. Guess I'm sayin I wanna see the offense open up a little more. Be more unpredictable but keep it simple. But of course I wanna see us be the last team standing at the end of the season.

More creative pass plays! Our run game keeps me guessing, but our passing game is pedestrian at best. Improvements from Kap! HE had a bit of a sophomore slump, so I would like to see him grow as a passer.

I hate critiquing anything about the guy after all he's done for us, but I hope learns when to dial the intensity back a little. There have been times when we looked a little too tightly wound at the beginning of games and didn't settle into just playing football until later.

Yeah, he's running out of excuses, he'll have no more after this (unless half the offense lands on IR)... Harbs too (for allowing it).
