Pretty sure in the tape thread it was said he would've been lit up by the safety.

Yeah. Also, throw of couple of these intermediate hits and then double move and bomb.

Are you sure your screen name is accurate? Because the Harbaugh era was filled with that kind of QB play.
Accurate as hell. Harbaugh's offense may have been filled with similar play but most of those times the easy throws weren't misses. Look at the way Vernon was used when he had double digit TDs. The seam route and crossing routes were his meal tickets. Then look at how Boldin was used. In similar ways. The QB hit those easy routes with the exception of last season.

The score of a team sport isn't a reflection of one players performance. He didn't play well, but I'm not sure how many people are actually saying he should be benched already, if any.
This is true unless it is Kaepernick, hallowed is his name. Then, all points scored are a direct result of his absolute awesomeness.

Interesting, NFL average of QB pocket time (time before they throw) is 2.5.
But I am 100% sure Chip Kelly knows this.

Not sure if serious. Even if you wanted to argue that Kap wasn't better (lol), I think there's a good case to be made that Ponder is better as well.
