You can say that about the niners offense at times as well. I think its going to depend on how our offense plays. We ain't going to win this game with FG's thats for sure. TOP definitely needs to favor the niners.
We rape Rodgers every game. He's thrown picks every game, and two that didn't count. A pick six that was dropped by a Whitner and one by Tarell Brown that was incorrectly called as pass interference.

For some reason we tend to do a good job getting pressure on him without blitzing too much. I don't really have faith in our pass-rush, though.
It'd going to come down to how quickly Rodgers can get the ball out. Atlanta and Arizona killed us the last two games with quick, rhythm passing combined with the occasional deep shot. The defense will need to find a way to adjust or its going to be a complete shootout.

No, just death by cheese overdose.
I don't like the fact this has become an annual affair. Once you beat them three straight times, it gets old.

We have those effing Bears to thank for this.

Agreed. Teams have been countering our defensive line with quicker passes and chips from the backs and it's working extremely effectively. If the d-line can't get to the QB the 49ers will give up chunks of point to the Packers. Aldon Smith has disappeared as a pass rusher.

The Packers are a beat up team right now. They have played their playoff game already (vs. Bears) and we will crush them. Rodgers prob still isnt 100%, Lacy is not healthy, Cobb has played 1 game, Matthews is prob out as well.

We should be able to run at them like last playoff game and control the clock and TOP. That being said we will need to punch in TD's and not FGs as our pass rush is lacking right now and WRs are getting open. We gave up a lot of yards and 20pts or more to ATL and ARZ.
Last years packers team was better than this one. But was last years 49ers team better than this one?

Zone blitzes and pressures can slow that down.

Well yeah but because of play calling. We have talent to muster up 23 points against the cardinals. The packer defensive players are bad.
Going into Green Bay will be tough, but this team is built to win in the Playoffs. We just have to be able to get pressure on Rodgers and control the game.

WE GOT THIS!

death by high cholesterol and horrible big hair perms
Not sure how many of you were watching the Bears-Pack game yesterday, but being on the East Coast I got to watch the whole thing. We better hope Eddie Lacy's ankle still isn't 100% come Sunday. He's EXACTLY the type of runner that we struggle against--big, physical, and runs violent. He did, however, come out on several plays because his ankle was still bothering him.
