Fortunately, the game will be played in Green Bay. Last year's playoff game was a stadium filled with gangsters throwing gang signs. Rest assured there will not be 11 stabbings at the stadium the day of the game.

It's true. Niner fans have been taken over by a bunch of gang members.
With that being said, There will only be a bunch of fat ugly inbred white Midwesterners at this game.

Not sure this was posted yet, but just for historical comparison.

1-13, previous 14 games against Pack before Harbs
3-0, record against Pack after Harbs

Granted I would have rather faced Chicago than GB, but since the Packers are giving up a whopping 4.6 yards a rush ( tied for 27th in the league ), and on the other side have given up 45 sacks this year ( 24th in the league )...I think we match up pretty well
Bowman is going to wreck s***.

Not sure how many of you were watching the Bears-Pack game yesterday, but being on the East Coast I got to watch the whole thing. We better hope Eddie Lacy's ankle still isn't 100% come Sunday. He's EXACTLY the type of runner that we struggle against--big, physical, and runs violent. He did, however, come out on several plays because his ankle was still bothering him.

He's no Steven Jackson, I think we'll be ok

He's actually better than Jackson. The guy is legit.

Seriously. Subpar? Colin Kaepernick has the highest QBR of any quarterback over the past 4 weeks, heading into the playoffs. Rodgers threw 2 ints against the Bears too! And remember, the Bears defense is just as horrible as the Packers. The Niners are polar opposite of that. They have a scary offense when things are clicking. Their defense travels, and Bowman is playing out of his mind right now. But yeah, Rodgers is going to destroy us like he has in the past… wait.

If you're a 49er fan with any decent appreciation of the past....you'd understand that Lambeau field in January is still one thing we haven't conquered. Some really good 49er teams from the mid to late 90s went there and fell flat.

Better sense tells me we should win....but I think the offense has to show up. Our defense will be hard pressed to shutdown the Packers in Lambeau, and I don't think the refs will be fair either.

niners and saints advance to championship game. close out the stick in real style.

that would be nice
Two keys to this game:

1) PASS RUSH: Damnit we have no pass rush whatsoever. This bothers me. How many times was Palmer pressured? Seriously all year we have lacked a solid pass rush. This will take the pressure off the DB's. Especially against the Pack, we need that pass rush.

2) O-LINE: Establish the run. Damn sure is nice to see Staley making a catch but would be nice to see our guys not get blownup at the point of attack. Give the QB more time (since he's still a rook in his reads).
I'm calling it right now, Staley gets a 20 yard run on a reverse.
Merril Hodge said it best on Sportscenter, Said The Packers have Aaron Rodgers back which does make them better but this is a team sport and the 49ers are the better team all around
The lack of pass rush bothers me a lot, the past 2 weeks we've faced bad olines and barely pressured their qbs.

Better team doesn't always win, look at us in the sb last year. Still gotta show up and play the game

that is the bottom line. the niners are pretty strong in all phases of the game, the packers not so much so. they have home field which is nice for them and they have roman working against us which is another point for them. i think and hope we can over come both. it sounds silly a 12-4 team has to go to 8-7-1 but its just another challenge and as the coach said weeks ago(when roman put us in a spot where we HAD to win games) every step we take forward is a place for only the tough

and hope our offensive coordinator does not f**k things up
Last time I checked Aaron Rodgers doesn't play on the offensive line or on defense. Honestly I'm expecting a blow out win

agree,, that really must change , at least do not let rogers set back there like they allowed the ravens to do last year. unlike last year, smith smith and brooks have both of their arms working and if you lose , there is no practice for the next game so you better let it all hang out
