That's obvious, but you wonder if it has any more significant meaning?

its their cadence..packers say GREEN 19

I didn't know tolzien is #19
And little russell wilson yells "White lines, white lines,,,,"
I'm pretty sure I remember Jeff Garcia saying Red 80 before the snap...seems like its been their cadence forever now

Wouldn't it also solidify the timin for the opponent? When they hear red 80, won't they also know the ball will be snapped?

That is when you get them with a hard count

What is the state of the collective fanbase of the Seachickens following a January 2014 rematch vs. the 49ers?
This thread needs a "Black 59 Razor" reference.

so it just solidifies and smoothes out the timing is what you're saying?

Wouldn't it also solidify the timin for the opponent? When they hear red 80, won't they also know the ball will be snapped?

Was thinking of that. Or they could just see the play clock at :02, then :01, and know when to start pursuing.

OR "WHITE 90"

Joe Montana asked about black 59 razor-

"I don't think they use that anymore. It was a blitz protection. Basically maximum protection. Razor was just a combination route on the outside, with a post-corner, or ‘shake' we called it. It didn't matter where they were lined up, if it was in the slot or regular formation. It was better if they were in the slot formation because it gave you a better option and more field to work with."
It can be use for audibles and adjustments but that isn't always the case.
