I don't have all the info but from what i saw there was a BBQ / tail gate party today at the Candlestick Point Park just behind the parking lot. Lots of Niner fans the smell of BBQ and music people drinking eating having a good time It was held in honor of the Stick from what i heard. It was really sad brought back memories of what real SAN FRANCISCO 49ers football use to be. But sadly we are stuck with the watered down Santa Clara 49ers version.

The concept of a "tailgate party" has always seemed overrated to me. I show up to a game for one reason and one reason only, to watch some football. I don't drink alcohol so that aspect of it is pointless for me, as far as food is concerned I would much rather hit up some restaurant before the game. If I wanted to stand around and socialize with a bunch of fans than I wouldn't bother with the several hundred dollar ticket (all my family and friends are 49er fans) I cheer my butt off for the 49ers when I am INSIDE the stadium. Anything outside of that doesn't get me excited. I will miss Candlestick but not for the tail gate aspect of it. I am fully aware that the majority of you guys feel different, I am only sharing my opinion
