SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS VS CAROLINA PANTHERS GAMEDAY THREAD (WEEK 10)

People have to keep in mind Kap is basically in the second week of his sophomore season. We can judge him on a week to week basis, look at the big picture, in 2-3 years I could easily see him being a top three QB in the league. Damn near every week, any game we play in is a big game and people are gunning for us. The wins and losses will all sharpen Kap and make him a better QB. Pending VD and Reid's concussions we should be back at 100% soon and ready to roll. All we need is 10-6 or 11-5 to get the wild card in the s**tty NFC, we might end up at 12-4 after this loss.

P.S.- We should have traded for Gordon, plain and simple. Sorry to bring up old s**t, but it's the truth.

We struggle against TOUGH defenses. Look at our losses under Harbaugh. SEA twice, Indy, Carolina, NYG twice, Vikings, Rams, Ravens twice, AZ. All teams who played really tough D.

We just cant beat teams who are like us. Only loss to a team that wasnt built that way since 2011 was Harbaughs 2nd game against Dallas.

Roman trying to prove he can call plays w/out (running/using) Gore = a fat chic trying to be skinny ...

Some players have it, and some players dont. Montana had it. Marino didnt.


No one here can tell me that Wilson would not have won that game with a minute to go. Kaepernick is simply a big time loser.

why yall keep posting their record? They are a good team, their play remind me of our 2011 9ers. Their fans are loyal and loud...and Andy and Alex have done something together few coaches and QBs have....going to a new team together and winning.

Are Brandon Lloyd, Arnaz Battle, Johnnie Morton, Kevan Barlow & our 2005 O-line better than what we currently have? Because that is the last time we had a game with less passing yards than today.

Seattle is salivating for our next matchup because they know we don't have homefield advantage even at the stick.

It was a ridiculous route by Smith. He was literally so smooth that I doubt any DB could cover it.

Great route for sure. But Carolina did not take any deep shots down the sideline all game long. Foolish to give that big of a cushion. There was at least 5 yards cushion between Smith/Ginn and the DB on every comeback route

we are a good team vs bad teams. against good teams we can not win due to weaknesses in our offense getting exposed by a good defense. you can not see that?

Go back and look at our record versus playoff teams since Harbaugh took over. Then come back and tell us what you've learned. Also, Carolina is not a playoff team.....yet.

Go look at this year games. The past don't mean s**t we have beaten on decent team this year. We have scored a total of 19 points in the loses to all good teams. Wake up.

Well, looking at the present we're 6-3. But you're right, may as well hand the division crown over to Seattle now and pack it in. We suck.
