Some of the fans are just sort of dumb (or too drunk, from the tailgating) and don't know when to shut up, even though there were several ushers and other fans using the hand motions and mouthing "shut up".
Not a lot of green.
Thats what I am saying. And nobody said if you dont attend you are less of a fan, I retired in DC. Thats where I live. I will only see two live games this year, Texans on the 6th and against the skins. The stadium looked packed with niner fans yesterday, especially given a strong packer fan base there and an outdated stadium. I am just not going to critique the fans that showed up when I didnt buy myself a ticket home.
Next year in the new stadium, I think we will have improved game sound/volumne with a updated venue. I think you will see how great of a fan base it is, and a strong homefield advantage.

complains about the fans, doesn't go to a game.
I'm sorry I've been away from cali for the past 12 years on business defending this nations freedom.
Pwned! Good job brother. I'm the same way, once I left Cali for the military I was only able to attend one game a year (maybe)...doesn't make us any less of a fan.
Thank you for your service as well! yes I'm lucky if I can catch an away game close to SC once a year. And please believe when I get that opportunity I go crazy at the stadium!
Not being able to go to the games doesn't make you less of a fan no matter what the circumstances are. When it is because you are risking life and limb for your country, not only shouldn't you catch s**t for it, you should get a big

Thank you for your service as well sir. Just making a statement about the lack of homefield advantage we have. I want an intimidating place kinda like what Seattle has. I know the current stadium may not be built to amp crowd noise like theirs but I hate hearing to other teams fans roaring over ours.

Idk if you can say packer fans travel well.
Pretty sure most of them move from Wisconsin when they can and live in better places. Prolly 75% of the packer fans at the stick live in the bay area

I have said it time and time again our home field is a joke sometimes when I go to games. Old people complain about 49er FANS BEING LOUD AND CHEERING like wtf give me a break. We let half of the other teams fans in the stadium like we did on sunday with packers and always do with cowboys fans. If you dont go to be 100 loud and cheer on your team then why go. I cant wait to move next year hopefully some of those soft ass older fans ( No offense to older people or people around during the 80s runs) but you and you whining have to go.

Um, it's simple science:
Smaller stadium + outside (no dome) + not designed to funnel sound inside = Can't hear on TV
It's way different if you go to a game, everyone is yelling and jumping around. Our advantage is that no one wants to play at the Stick b/c it's old, cold, and smelly (ala Veterans Stadium) and dammit I LOVE IT!!!!
Sad to see it go

The only bad thing about 49er fans is that they don't shut up when the offense is on the field!! They're retarded like that
If the Packers travel well (which they do), don't you think they made some noise when we were on offense? lol

I agree, if you attend the game it gets really loud. On TV it doesn't seem like it at all

season ticket holder here
there's some ppl in my section in front of us that are a bit more on the senior side... they constantly tell ppl that arent' season ticket holders to sit down on 3rd down
"down in front, pls" etc. bullsh*t like that
you'll never deal with that in a places like cleveland, pittsburgh, seattle, GB, NO, etc
it's stupid, annoying and it's embarrassing.

Well to be fair. Nobody in GB wants to sit, bleached seats suck.
