How much info can the Packers get from Tolzien?

There is nothing he can really tell them that they dont already know. There is very little "unknown" in the NFL because the amount of tape/manpower people have to watch. Almosy every playbook is known, they really aren't all that different from each other, mostly just depends on the system. Game plans are what actually matter and Tolzien has no idea about the 9ers gameplan for the Packers, more then likely that is being installed today.

Exactly. What the Packers have seen on tape of the 49ers offense is probably more than what Tolzien can tell them.

The info would confuse them. Imagine learning your own playbook your own game plan.
And on top of that having to learn the other teams offensive playbook.
Players play best when they play without thinking. If they do try and learn tendencies and such from a playbook
They will only F themselves. Imo

No conspiracy. Jed said that he did it and had no help.
Single man, no conspiracy.

I did some research after I read this statement. I think he is correct. It appears now that is pretty complicated to copy the playbook off of an iPad. Since there is no USB port on an iPad, a player couldn't just connect a flash drive to the iPad and copy the playbook to the flash drive. There are some more sophisticated maneuvers that one could use to copy a document off of an iPad, but they are not realistic in this situation.
Besides, I assume that the 49ers would keep their playbook on a secure server (and not download it onto each iPad) and the players would be given an iPad that was setup to "access" the server, allowing the player to see the playbook.
Of course, one could still use a pencil and paper to copy down info and make notes etc. One could also use an iPhone camera to photograph each page in the playbook.

Also I'm sure players who are released and are no longer "trusted agents," as Harbaugh would say, are told before departing "If you give out any of our plays to anyone, we WILL hunt you down, and we WILL kill you."

I don't think he knows all the "new plays." Besides, as people have said, it doesn't matter. What matters is the game plan, which Tolzien does not know.

Some stuff for sure.
But every week there is a different game plan and our game plan for the Pack is being implemented after Tolzein has gone.
Maybe, Roman will use some formations Tolzein knows as feints and counter w/something esle.
Personally, I think we're just going to out power them the whole game in all 3 phases of it.

Tolzein can't tell them anything that they can't find out their own by watching film. It's not going to make much of a difference. And we brought in Mangini for this exact purpose.
