Do we need a veteran QB?

I feel like Tolzien V McCoy should be the battle for #3.

The 49ers are in a dog fight for the NFC West and if Kaep goes down for even a couple weeks its better luck next year?

That's an overreaction in my opinion. Harbaugh has demonstrated an ability to cater an offense to the QB's strengths and weaknesses.

In addition, you saw McCoy with the 2nd teamers. His play would be much better if he played with the 1st stringers in my opinion.

And who's out there in the market that would be an upgrade to McCoy and Tolzien?

Our second string O-line was a joke. I'm not passing judgement on McCoy just yet, it's not really fair. If our first stringers all go down in one game we'd have cause for alarm.

No need for a veteran QB, Colt McCoy is a veteran btw. Patience one of the back ups will step up.
Not yet. No time for knee jerk reactions.
No. We have one in our HC, and I think if Tolzien makes the roster he has enough time in the system.
It depends on which veteran QBs become available.
BJ Daniels should be given a chance

I like Tolzien but I am alarmed by McCoy.
