i think the rams will be a force pretty soon too but the hawks are still stacked. the rams will be the primary rival the season after this one unless all of their draft picks click right away. they drafted well the last two seasons, have a great coach in fisher and theyre fundamentally sound and dont rely on cheating, late hits, PED's to win. with all that said, f**k them both, niners are gonna smash dat ass

Sam Bradford doesn't impress me, he reminds me of Alex. The D is legit and Coach Fisher will get the most out of the roster. Are they a bigger threat than Seattle? Let's see if Pete's message falls on deaf ears this year and if their QB grows 6 more inches.

What message of Pete's are you referring to, and why does our QB need to grow 6 more inches?

I think the Rams are real good, but I still see the Seahawks as the toughest two games the Niners play this year. Keep in mind that those Rams games last year were real close - both a missed easy kick away from a win - while only one of the Seahawks games was close and the other was an absolute beat down.

they will all be tough,, teams will always up their game when they play the two time defending champs so that is why we have to play at a high level all the time. That may be unrealistic and that is the s**ts but that is the way it is. everyone plays better against the champs

Rams rivalry is dead. Far more concerned with the Seahawks. That team will be gunning for us 100% Week 2 and their rabid fans will be gnashing their teeth. I don't count any game as an automatic win but our game against the Rams is the only game in our first five weeks that I'm not going to lose sleep over. I'm assuming the Pack has it out for us, as well.
The game against the Falcons late in the season will really give me fits.

No i think the rams rivalry is anything but dead the falcons and packers are not important as they are not conference game. i am not worried about either one of them , by the way. I just think if we come ready to play the game and control what we can control we will be ok, but I still think the rams is who we will struggle with the most.

The rams secondary besides finnegan is not good at all. Their lbs are average at best bc laurenitus is good but nothing too special. They lost amendola and Jackson so good luck there. Their OL is above average so yes sometimes they match up well but they are not going to beat us.
Also the Seahawks are very good but it takes a great team like the niners to be great and win ON THE ROAD. Are we forgetting the hawks lost to
MIAMI
DETROIT
ARIZONA
RAMS
And they scored 6 points against us
Again, you heard it right, Miami Detroit ariz and the rams hahahahaha

It definitely shouldn't have come down to a field goal, granted.

This is not last years Niners. Some bugs have been worked out and some better talent has replaced some glaring weaknesses. Seamaggots are headed for a very rude lesson this coming season.

The fact is that both the Rams and the Seahawks have a much tougher road schedule coming up this year than they had last year and the Niners have an easier road schedule. Both teams have to play the Falcons in Atlanta, the Texans in Houston and the Colts in Indy. The Rams also have to go to Dallas.
The toughest out of division road games the Niners have are the Saints, Redskins and the Bucs.

And the 9 tie superbowl champion seahawks won't sneak up on anybody this year either, they have been game planned now. They can't bring their idiotic crowd on the road either which is 50& of their game.

I can't believe the Bucs are considered a tough road game this year. Someone pinch me.
