I would take Woodson in a heartbeat! Especially on a 1 year deal he'll be more motivated by either a new contract or this being his last go at it!

He sacrifices if he wants to win the ring + prepares us to triologize the Pack!
Could see him really wanting to come back and get at the Packers week 1!

I think, an agreement is secretely done and he signs after the draft.
We'll probably draft 2 S, one in the 2nd and a sleeper. He'll be a mentor like Mos was.

dahl is younger, can play both spots and is good on special teams. woodson can not play special teams, he is also to old, no in my opinion he does not fit into our plans no matter how much he and some fans wish
Dahl is terrible at safety. So, you may say he can play both spots, but he can't play either spot well. This is an awful argument.

He will definitely be a Niner. Hopefully for cheap (ala Nnamdi's contract). I know it'll be a one year gig, but would like him to stick around for 2 years with a smooth transition to the future guy.

How the hell would you know how he fits into our plans. He's one of greatest dbs ever and the niners have shown they have some interest in him. If Harbaalke wants him, I'm on board.

I can not understand how some people still do not get it. the players this regime signs are signed for a reason. dahh is not going to be a hall of famer like charles will be but he was signed for a reason and i just happen to think you do not hate a player in a niner uniform untill they give you a reason. this whole charles thing is silly,. we will draft a hot shot rookie who will end up starting game one.

even if we did draft a rookie in 1st, he wouldn't be a guaranteed starter. aldon was a 3rd down specialist as a rookie, and Jenkins didn't even catch a ball yet. not saying we absolutely need to sign him, but woodson could have a role as a leader at minimum.

Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati both instantly started because the people in their spots were terrible. A top rated safety would be looking at the same thing.
